Isa 32:1 Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, And princes will rule with justice.
Isa 32:2 A man will be as a hiding place from the wind, And a cover from the tempest, As rivers of water in a dry place, As the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
Isa 32:3 The eyes of those who see will not be dim, And the ears of those who hear will listen.
Isa 32:4 Also the heart of the rash will understand knowledge,
And the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.
Isa 32:5 The foolish person will no longer be called generous, Nor the miser said to be bountiful;
Isa 32:6 For the foolish person will speak foolishness, And his heart will work iniquity: To practice ungodliness, To utter error against the LORD, To keep the hungry unsatisfied, And he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Isa 32:7 Also the schemes of the schemer are evil; He devises wicked plans To destroy the poor with lying words, Even when the needy speaks justice.
Isa 32:8 But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand.
Here are some events that will unfold as the King of Righteousness reigns in your life!
Event # 1 Honour the King of Righteousness First
Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of Lords. For a king to reign in righteousness in your country, he must first bow his knee to the King of Kings the true source of righteousness or right living. We are to be kings and priests unto our God – a royal priesthood chosen by God to live out His Will on the earth. But the key is to serve like a Priest while ruling like a king.
Event # 2 The Succession of Kingly righteousness in the Princes
In the Hebrew Parallelism of poetry and prophecy, they repeat something a different way instead of looking for a rhyme. The fact that Prince will rule in justice is a continuation of a previous thought of Kings ruling in righteousness. The unfolding event will be that the next generation of rulers will execute justice in the same spirit of righteous kings. Event # 3 The Man Jesus is revealed in His Church
The Body of Christ – the Man Jesus seen in the Church.
A Man will become a hiding place from the wind. Wind speaks of winds of doctrine that toss people to and fro. It makes people waver between two opinions and prevents them from receiving anything form God:
James warns the double minded:
Jas 1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Jas 1:7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
Jas 1:8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
The Man, Jesus becomes our shield and refuge, our strong fortress, our rock on which we stand against the storms and winds of life.
The Man Jesus manifested in His Church on earth, will be a cover from the Tempest. Storms speak of circumstances – things beyond your control. The economy, the environment, wars and rumours of wars. Jesus knew the last days would be full of storms and He comforted us:
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.
Mat 24:5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
The Man Christ will be as rivers of water in a dry place.
Joh 4:13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
Joh 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing u
