We watch Nightwish (1989). What can we say about this movie? It's part of that 80s trend of dream-like horror films inspired by the Nightmare on Elm Street, such as Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night 2, and, uh, others. Is this a good film? No. Is this a bad film? No. Is this a mediocre film? No.
This is Schrodinger's film. It's impossible to tell how good or bad this film is until you watch it, and that rule applies just as much on rewatches.

We talk about Last Shift (2014). If you never seen this film, it's a lot like the film Malum from 2023. But of course Malum is a much better film than this, made by a much better director than this, so we decided to speak about the inferior product. And if you prefer this over Malum, you have inferior tastes.
(We don't actually believe that. Part of marketing involves rage baiting the public with hot takes so that their hate translates to views. What we really believe is that Last Shift is significantly better than Malum, and if you like Malum, you have inferior tastes.)

We talk about Wicker Man from 1973. One of the best horror films to never start a franchise, to never get a remake starring Nicholas Cage, and to never get a sequel in 2011 that no one wanted.
