Father Brice talked with us on January 14th about our vision for our parish at Our Lady of Prompt Succor. In South Louisiana, it can seem like our cultural Catholicism can boost us in all circumstances. However, over the past years we have seen a severe decline in the Catholic population of the area, and in particular of our smaller community of Chackbay, Choupic, and the surrounding area. How do we counter this loss of faith? By returning with zeal to our church parish, bringing our time, talent, and treasure to the feet of Christ.
