Story Transcript:

Sk: O tomto príbehu sme počuli jedného slnečného dňa.
En: We heard this story one sunny day.

Sk: Na Hlavnej stanici v Bratislave, medzi idúcimi ľuďmi, stál chlapec menom Juraj.
En: At the Main Station in Bratislava, among the passing people, stood a boy named Juraj.

Sk: Čakal na svoju priateľku Miroslavu a jej sestru Tatianu, ktoré mal stretnúť pred vchodom.
En: He was waiting for his girlfriend Miroslava and her sister Tatiana, whom he was supposed to meet at the entrance.

Sk: Juraj, ktorý bol vždy veselý a plný energie, hľadel na o ľuďoch rozvírené holuby a rozmýšľal nad tým, ako prežije deň.
En: Juraj, who was always cheerful and full of energy, watched the people and the flustered pigeons and wondered how he would spend the day.

Sk: Vtom zdvihol zrak a uvidel niečo úžasné.
En: Then he looked up and saw something amazing.

Sk: Na lavičke vedľa bol pokojne položený objekt, ktorý vypadal ako vtáčie hniezdo.
En: Peacefully resting on the bench next to him was an object that looked like a bird's nest.

Sk: Bez premýšľania, s myšlienkou urobiť vtip, sa rozhodol, že "hniezdo" si položí na hlavu.
En: Without thinking, with the idea to make a joke, he decided to put the "nest" on his head.

Sk: No keď sa pln elánu vztiahol, skôr ako stihol dokončiť svoj úmysel, zaznel zvonivý smiech.
En: But as he stretched out enthusiastically, before he could complete his intention, a ringing laughter echoed.

Sk: Okolo ho obklopila skupina ľudí a Miroslava s Tatianou sa pridali k veselému zboru.
En: A group of people surrounded him, and Miroslava and Tatiana joined the merry group.

Sk: Juraj sa nestelesnenel, keď si uvedomil, že čo považoval za hniezdo, bola v skutočnosti Miroslavina klobúčik.
En: Juraj was speechless when he realized that what he thought was a nest was actually Miroslava's hat.

Sk: Miroslava, aj keď prekvapená, zobrala celú situáciu s humorom.
En: Miroslava, although surprised, took the whole situation with humor.

Sk: "Juraj, vedel som, že si prírodný človek, ale zdá sa, že tiež máš sklon byť módny kritik!
En: "Juraj, I knew you were a natural person, but it seems you also have a tendency to be a fashion critic!"

Sk: " zasmiala sa s otvorenými rukami prijala svoj klobúk späť.
En: she laughed as she open-handedly took back her hat.

Sk: "Tak to chceš premeniť na štýlový kúsok?
En: "So you want to turn it into a stylish piece?"

Sk: " povedala Tatiana, ešte stále chytajúc sa za brucho od smiechu.
En: said Tatiana, still holding her stomach from laughter.

Sk: Chvíľku trvalo, kým sa smiech utíšil, ale Jurajove líca ešte dlho horeli hanbou.
En: It took a while for the laughter to quiet down, but Juraj's cheeks burned with embarrassment for a long time.

Sk: Napriek tomu sa všetci traja dohodli, že sa táto zábavná príhoda stane ich spoločným tajomstvom a príbehom, o ktorom sa bude rozprávať na každej spoločnej stretávke.
En: Nevertheless, all three agreed that this amusing incident would become their shared secret and a story to be told at every gathering.

Sk: Vďaka tejto nečakanej situácii sa stali ešte pevnejšími priateľmi a vždy si na ten deň spomenuli s úsmevom.
En: Thanks to this unexpected situation, they became even closer friends and always remembered that day with a smile.

Sk: A Juraj už nikdy nezamieňal klobúk za vtáčie hniezdo.
En: And Juraj never mistook a hat for a bird's nest again.
