Working for God and walking with God are not the same thing.

One is activity. The other is relationship.

Our relationship with God is the wellspring that waters our marriages, our children, our homes, and every role we carry. Without it, everything else — no matter how impressive it looks — is standing on hollow ground.

Ananias called him "Brother Saul." 🤝

The man had just overseen Stephen's stoning. He was actively hunting Christians. And yet Ananias — trusting God's word over what his own eyes had seen — walked into that room and called him brother.

That is what it looks like to choose faith over sight.

"If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." (Romans 8:9)

God sees every soul as worth reaching — even the ones we've written off. Even the ones who've pushed every envelope we can imagine. We limit God when we decide who is and isn't worthy of His grace.

Sometimes the mountain we're asking God to remove is the very thing keeping the enemy from reaching us. 🏔️

The God of Moses is the same God walking with us today. He will not leave. He will not forsake. He is fighting for us.

🔔 The bells need the pomegranate.

The gifts of the Spirit need the fruit of the Spirit.

🦁 Samson could slay a lion with his bare hands. ⚔️ He could defeat 1,000 soldiers with a jawbone. 🏙️ He carried city gates to the top of a hill.

But he couldn't stay faithful on an ordinary Tuesday.

The spirit moved on him "at times" — and it was the time in between that destroyed him. (Judges 13:25)

The greatest spiritual test isn't in the revival service. It's in the routine.

Can God count on us when nothing extraordinary is happening?

💡 Conviction without hope produces despair. But conviction with grace produces repentance.
