"Paces of Places" is an evocative exploration of the diverse rhythms that define various environments, intertwining physical, symbolic, and digital realms. This album delves into the intricate layers of pace, not just in terms of rhythm, but as a reflection of deeper societal and existential meanings. Each track on the album transports the listener to a unique locale, where the pace of life reveals profound truths about human existence, societal constructs, and the ever-evolving digital landscape.

The concept of pace is multifaceted within this album. It goes beyond mere tempo to encompass the emotional and symbolic resonance of each environment. Whether it’s the languid drift of forgotten dunes or the frenetic energy of virtual hideouts, the pace embodies the essence of these places, drawing listeners into a vivid auditory experience that stimulates both thought and feeling.

"Paces of Places" is a profound auditory journey that challenges listeners to reflect on the rhythms that shape their lives. Through its masterful blend of soundscapes and symbolic depth, the album offers a contemplative experience that resonates with the complexities of contemporary existence.

French-speaking artist Pōnky is bringing fresh energy to the techno scene. As the first external artist to convince the Vision Ekstase team to release an album on their renowned label, Pōnky has made a significant impact. His music blends the influences of trance, techno, and house, creating an electrifying atmosphere on the dance floor. Pōnky's love for vocals, trance-like synthesizer elements, and house-inspired percussion results in a fusion of genres that has never been seen before.

On August 30th, he will release his EP “KNOW WHO I AM” on the Vision Ekstase label. This platform provides the perfect stage to close out the summer with Pōnky's unique genre fusion. The EP features five tracks, each of which creates an energetic atmosphere in its own way. With the influence of David Löhlein in the trance genre, Pōnky's album immediately resonates with fans of this music style. The tracks on the EP have already been played at various festivals during the summer of 2024, captivating audiences everywhere.

This is the second appearance on our Various Artists catalog for both Berlin-based acts, featuring individual and collaborative tracks from the artists.

Infamous for their industrial/EBM-leaning techno signature sound, Unhuman (Manos Simotas) and New Frames (Mathis Mootz/The Panacea/Squaremeter and David Frisch) join forces to elevate their production style even further.

Dancefloor killers for heads of diverse tastes, featuring one solo track from each artist per side, along with three complementary collaborative compositions. Side A showcases New Frames’ fresh-sounding crossover of industrial and dubstep with the track “Dubplate,” accompanied by the hard-hitting collaborative stompers “Commander” and “3rd Eye Cataract.”

On the flip side, Unhuman delivers his own broken beat-industrial techno beast, “Cerberus,” while the release concludes with the final collaborative techno track, “New Force.”

Industrial techno heat brought to you by long standing specialists of the genre!

Following his successful debut EP "FATAL FUSION VOL 01" in early 2023, Lysander has received support from DJ Heartstring and JKS, with releases on labels like PHTM, Rave Your Soul, Concrete, and Synergie.

His new 10-track EP, "Bamboo Tactics," explores the diverse styles of the 2000s, featuring remixes by DJ SUN, DJ SWISHERMAN, Dylan Fogarty, Lasse, and The Miller. This EP is a bridge between past and future, highlighting Lysander's ability to blend historical influences with contemporary sounds.

We are excited to announce our newest release, EXP007 with Sira from Belgium. The energy of his music when he shared it with us fascinated us greatly, and we immediately felt connected to his aesthetic.

Therefore, we are delighted to welcome Sira to our roaster with an outstanding modern sound of stripped-down and repetitive cuts.

Sira stays true to the timeless sound. Focusing on rhythm and atmosphere to draw in the crowd and control the floor, guiding dancers through ethnic rhythms merged with hypnotic melodies.
