Dextro’s tunes have long been a staple of Mutual Rytm label head SHDW's sets, with the esteemed veteran previously landing on the label with his ‘Covil Dos Abutres’ EP last year. His return with ‘Planets And Stars’ features a selection of his most requested IDs from recent times, with the Portuguese DJ/producers featuring as a longstanding favourite within the European underground since the 90s through his stripped-back,

economical sound that is rooted in masterful design and intuitive grooves. He is a true studio craftsman, whether going deep or more destructive, and that range is on show here as he makes a splash for his sophomore outing. SHDW notes, “‘Planets And Stars’ feels like his most refined and focused work to date. It also further strengthens our relationship, rooted in a shared vision and values around music and how it should be presented.”

The EP kicks off with the heavyweight ‘1000 Places’, a track that will rattle walls as eerie synth whispers and sonar blips snake through the mix. ‘Industria Acéfala’ is just as hypnotic with a deep blend of rolling bass and

rooted kicks, while unsettling tension comes in the one-note synth loops and scratchy texture. ‘Planets and Stars’ provides an intergalactic trip with cosmic dust, conscious spoken words and an infinite horizon that has

you gazing off into the distance. The all-consuming ‘Perpendicular’ is shadowy with impish motifs darting about the mix as watery droplets fall into cavernous kicks. ‘Winter Letter’ is the final 12”cut and is perfectly deep, linear techno with gorgeous ambient details that turn your thoughts inwards. Three digital bonuses expand the trip: ‘Torresmos com Pão’ is unsettling and sparse, ‘Historia da Vida’ ramps up the tension with oversized hi-hats and rising synth turbulence and finally ‘Ghost Particles’ has shimmering bell sounds evoking a spooky moon-lit church in the dead of night.

TSSRCT returns with a significant new chapter: its third release, by Antigone. Across three carefully sculpted pieces, the French artist explores a territory where deep resonance, fragile melody and stripped-down structures converge. More than a return, this EP stands as a timeless statement, reaffirming both Antigone's singular voice and TSSRCT's evolving sonic vision.

Funeral Future are the 485th guests of our original HATE Podcast series.

Formed by Repro and Adam Askov, Funeral Future stands among the key forces behind Copenhagen’s fast techno movement, a scene widely recognized for its intensity, emotional depth, and distinctive high-BPM sound.

As co-founders of the Euromantic label, they helped shape one of the most recognizable expressions of the Danish underground: fast, euphoric, melancholic, and deeply physical techno rooted in community, warehouse culture, and a strong DIY spirit.

Their sound moves between pounding rhythms, EBM-influenced pressure, trance-informed atmospheres, and emotionally charged melodic tension. Releases such as Hard Candy, Blue Euphoria, and The Bright Light Of Life remain defining examples of their unique approach; raw, functional, and deeply expressive at the same time.

Since a fateful meeting at a summer festival back in 2018, the collaborative force of Hedström & Pflug has been steadily carving out a distinct space within the modern techno landscape. With Signal, Hedström & Pflug masterfully navigate the sweet spot between deeply hypnotic states and raw club energy. The tracks lay down a foundation of powerful, overdriven kick drums that serve as the relentless motor beneath swirling, mesmerizing synth patterns. It is a sonic bridge perfectly suspended between sheer physical pressure and atmospheric sustain.

Grab The Groove’s decision to tap the duo for this release arrives at a perfect time. Over the past few years, Hedström & Pflug have refined a signature aesthetic that has led to an impressive output of more than 15 EPs across respected underground imprints like Newrhythmic, Room Trax, and SYXT. Not content to just operate within established channels, the pair have also successfully established their own release series, cementing their uncompromising vision with a milestone debut vinyl pressing last year.

Bringing their seasoned production grit to GTG, Signal captures the sound of a duo operating at the absolute height of their synergy. It is a masterclass in tension, delivering the exact kind of peak-time heat that techno purists crave.

On the A side, Laure Croft presents I Don’t Care (But I Do), her first official release on vinyl. The track captures that double edge of trying not to care while feeling everything anyway. It carries both restraint and impact at once. A reflection of growth, getting stronger, and turning everything learned into something that speaks on its own. This one means a lot.

Next to it, Pre-Silent brings his signature pressure. Raw, hypnotic, and fully locked into the sound of the underground. A track that does exactly what it needs to do, no unnecessary extra’s, no compromise.

Flipping to the B side, Sept keeps things tight and driving. With sporadic dubby elements, and a fresh take on techno soundscape, built around a low end that pulls you in and holds you there. Subtle but strong, sexy without trying.

Closing the record, Schusta lands his well deserved debut vinyl release. Gritty, direct, and full of unexpected turns. A track that hits hard and stays with you.

Four tracks, each with its own weight.

A super sexy VA.
