Written within a single time frame between late October and early December 2025, the set was built from an intensive period of jams, later sliced and played into a live performance.

All sound sources come from hardware machines, mixed through a Mackie desk and later played into an Xone.

“Drums the classic 909,808 and 606. The rest is built around modular sequences and ambiances, Juno and Atlantis chords, with the Enigiser, MS20 and SH-101 for liquid spirals, squelch and basslines. The Syncussion and the Korg Monopoly also play a very central role throughout the sound..

Global reverbs, delays and modulation effects are handled via Eventide H3000, Alesis Quadraverb and Ensoniq DP/4, alongside the legendary Space Echo. There are also a few moments where more overtly trance arps and early ambient techno emerge, notably from the JP-8000 and JV-1080”

Kameliia and BLANKA both previously appeared on Federation of Rytm IV and now step forward with their long-awaited debut EPs. It is another standout for Mutual Rytm's Versus series, which has already made an impact with two previous EPs from Regent and Chontane and Klint and Hemka. This third release subtly evolves the sound into more hypnotic and atmospheric worlds that bring fresh perspectives to the series.

Bulgarian-born, Norway-based Kameliia’s music is rooted in cinematic, melancholic and hypnotic sounds. She translates deep emotions into immersive sonic landscapes inspired by nature, particularly the moon, the sky and their atmospheric qualities. Along with Berlin-based Spaniard BLANKA, she has released on labels such as SK_Eleven, while BLANKA also co-founded Room Trax and draws heavily on the human voice, which she considers one of the most personal and intimate instruments. She uses it to create an emotional, direct connection with the dance floor, with a clean, minimal, timeless style rich in emotion.

Kameliia opens up with the weighty kicks and eerie atmospheres of 'Bird In A Cage' before 'Red Sky' layers taut kicks and icy synths into a hypnotic forward charge full of depth and darkness, then 'Lightness' has an unsettling and paranoid lead hanging in the air next to vocal fragments and haunting pads. BLANKA’s offering begins with tightly wound kicks and bass on the dubby 'Say It With Me'; 'Self Pleasure' is an immersive and rubbery rhythm with cosmic synth work, and 'Rabbit Habits' brings funky synth lines that radiate a sense of subtle light and hope amidst the darkness of the groove.

Two digital bonus cuts from each artist follow: Kameliia's unsettling, dystopian soundscape 'No Longer A Desire' and the backlit suspense of 'Vivere', and BLANKA's gritty, loopy 'Dream VST' and the deep-space odyssey that is 'Gone For Good'.

Inland, real name Ed Davenport, is a British DJ, producer and label operator running the Counterchange and Globuli labels.

As a producer his palette blends between surging club techno, deeper house, spectral ambient electronica, art installations and film soundtracks.

Ed’s close ties with Ostgut Ton / A-TON, Function’s Infrastructure, and releases on his home labels have built a firm following for his characteristic and precise sound.

In August 2025, Ed’s first full feature film soundtrack, RAVE ON, landed in cinemas. The double vinyl Soundtrack was presented on Freddy K’s KEY Vinyl.

‘In Cycles’ inaugurates this new phase with the return of German producer Confusion, part of Mannheim’s Raserei crew, following his previous appearance on SK alongside Ebass.

Dark, brisk and propelled by momentum, the double EP moves through somber tonalities, layers of bleeps and shifting cadences, all held together by a distinctly sculptural arrangement. From its opening moments, driving low ends establish the foundations for a dense sonic landscape to develop. Textures gather and multiply around tight rhythmic structures: chased hi-hats cut through layers of organic frequencies, while alluring sub-basses sustain a constant sense of motion. On the B side, ‘Space’ disrupts familiar patterns of listening, creating an explosive tension between repetition and surprise. Moving into the third disc, high-pressure atmospherics give way to more scintillating, recursive intricacies, drawing the listener into a heads-down, eyes-shut state where minute alterations continually reshape the space around them. Towards its closing stretch, the bleeps continue to unfold, tracing glossy contours through its hazy environment. On ‘Truth’, these elements assume a more dream-textured sensuality, evoking the fantasy of a hidden realm without losing sight of the drive running throughout. Finally, the title track brings the album’s narrative full circle on a softer note, as hopeful chords fill the air and leave its closing moments suspended in a more luminous dimension.

Teeming with detail yet firmly shaped for club use, ‘In Cycles’ unfolds as an immersive and technically assured long-form statement.

On Ultimamente, Marcal introduces one of the record’s most immersive moments. Fleeting sonic details appear and disappear throughout the arrangement, while a carefully integrated vocal element adds depth and emotional weight without disrupting the flow. Closing the EP, The Surprise Test delivers its most direct statement. Rough and driving without leaning into industrial aesthetics, the track is powered by rolling energy, syncopated claps and a series of subtle electronic details that continuously animate its surface. The contrast between rawness and precision gives the record a powerful closing moment.

At the heart of ‘Diese Fragile Praesenz’ lies a melancholic yet propulsive drone, constructed from a field recording and drenched in white noise. Around this softly glowing orb Kelovolt constructs a vast, shifting, sombre soundscape. Lush, magisterial pads, starry-eyed synth work, cold washes of tape hiss and static melt in and out of the mise-en-scène. Crumbling walls of bass and distortion collapse in slow motion even as rich, brasslike harmonies elevate the listening mind. Long keening synth notes emerge from the fog, intertwining with falling tubular figures, a journey through a wormhole of sound both monumental and fragile.

At the heart of ‘Diese Fragile Praesenz’ lies a melancholic yet propulsive drone, constructed from a field recording and drenched in white noise. Around this softly glowing orb Kelovolt constructs a vast, shifting, sombre soundscape. Lush, magisterial pads, starry-eyed synth work, cold washes of tape hiss and static melt in and out of the mise-en-scène. Crumbling walls of bass and distortion collapse in slow motion even as rich, brasslike harmonies elevate the listening mind. Long keening synth notes emerge from the fog, intertwining with falling tubular figures, a journey through a wormhole of sound both monumental and fragile.

The accompanying reinterpretations approach this deeply rich source material with discerning reverence. Voltmar's version deepens the grain of the original, with sharper percussion and washes of static that blow through the mix like little gales of dust. Anthony Linell's PM and AM remixes delve into a darker emotional core, placing at the centre a low, shadowy synth pulse around which mists of tape hiss and distortion swirl. Black Merlin steers the track down the path of eerie psychedelia, echoing clicks and dubwise space around a groove often found in the deeper chasms of contemporary techno.

Elsewhere, Die Wilde Jagd stretches the original into a mesmeric landscape of drones, occasional distant percussion and heavy fog, punctuated by fleeting moments of melodic clarity and beautifully resonant bell tones. CV313's pair of reworks complete the collection by exploring two complementary dimensions of the original through his signature dub approach. The Gravitational Pull mix feels the most true to the title track, amplifying its starry-eyed, celestial qualities, with a softer, hazier version built around a deep bass groove, while the Dimensional Dub descends into vast caverns of echo, resonance and alien texture - strong dub-techno sensibilities loom large in this mix.

Endlessly contemplative, endlessly exploratory, minimood027 is a trip to its own sonic galaxy that spirals inexorably outward, carrying the mind to ever wider astral planes. But at the core is that ever-pulsing drone, the black abyss that draws consciousness powerlessly back into the great nothingness.

The release opens with “Oxímoron”, the manifest track initiating this cultural renaissance. Built upon a stark, condensed minimal chord and punctuated by an expansive, hypnotic break right at its core, the track sets the definitive coordinates for the label's structural purification. It is followed by “Hipérbole”, a high-driven track defined by an infectious groove where classic house-infused chords and an 808 cowbell anchor a relentless, shifting rhythm.

On the flip side, the syntax sharpens. “Hipérbaton” delivers a drier, raw sonic architecture, stripping back ornament to focus on an off-beat stab and a commanding, dominant sub-bass line.
