As a DJ, producer, and co-founder of Arsenik, Dold has championed raw, unembellished techno since 2015. His releases on Key and Fuse blend Detroit techno’s legacy with IDM’s intricacy and ambient’s ethereal tones, creating a style that is both timeless and forward-thinking. Whether it's crafting tapestry’s recorded via hardware in the studio or performing live, Dold continues to innovate, honouring techno’s roots while exploring its future, and his talent is on full display across his label debut on Mutual Rytm X.

‘Grainy’ opens the EP and showcases Dold’s ability to craft deep and loopy techno with a stripped-back, emotive edge. It’s deft but enthralling, with innovative synths rising and falling through the minimal drums. ‘Surface’ is another compelling deep cut with hurried drum funk and subtle synth pulses, adding a futuristic edge to the groove. The fantastic ‘Blush’ brings smears of warm synth and machine soul to a dynamic dub techno rhythm that bends the past with the present. Digital bonus cuts ‘Dub at Heart (Club Version)’ and ‘Dub at Heart (Sofa Version)’ offer contrasting perspectives of the same track, with the first aiming directly for peak-time sessions, while the latter closes the package on a laid-back tip.

The EP opens with "Shadows of the Past," a track driven by a pulsating, groovy synth line and dynamic drum patterns that propel the rhythm forward. It seamlessly transitions into "Beaten," a dark, hypnotic piece that envelops the listener in a shadowy atmosphere.

The B-side begins with "Shamanic," a track that pays homage to a more classic techno sound while maintaining an irresistible, steady groove. Following this, "The Wall That We Build" offers a more delicate and minimalistic approach, balancing precision and subtlety. The journey concludes with "Tears of Light," an epic and transcendental piece that takes the listener to another dimension.

For the digital-only version, "Unstoppable Moves" is an additional gem, a loop-driven, repetitive masterpiece that never loses its captivating momentum.

With a runtime of just over five and a half minutes, “By Myself” captures the essence of late-night euphoria, blending introspective melodies with an infectious pulse. Carla Schmitt’s ethereal vocals add an intimate layer, weaving a narrative of self-discovery and empowerment. Her hauntingly beautiful delivery elevates the track, setting it apart as a deeply personal yet universally relatable anthem. Leo Pol complements this with his nuanced approach to sound design, where lush pads and crisp percussive elements converge to create a sense of cinematic grandeur.

Fans of both artists will recognize the individual strengths they bring to the table, yet the track’s cohesive energy suggests something entirely fresh—a fusion that’s as innovative as it is timeless".

The Rilis series, originally launched in the '90s by the legendary Rino Cerrone (1972–2024), has always been a platform for underground and experimental techno. Since its relaunch in 2022, the series has been revitalised to spotlight artists who embody the same philosophy and has featured acclaimed names like A.Paul, DJ Dextro, Samuel L Session, Ritzi Lee, and more.

Lerio Corrado, a seasoned producer with releases on labels such as AnalyticTrail, Tronic, Second State, and Loose Records, used to be the exclusive opening act at the infamous Slow Pitch parties hosted by Rino Cerrone himself. These events were a showcase for Rino’s forward-thinking Techno House concept.

Lerio returns to Unrilis with a collection of tracks that highlight his unique blend of driving percussion and captivating sound design. The “Frame Tale” EP embodies the essence of the Rilis series: bold, innovative, and unapologetically underground.

"Frame Tale" opens the EP with fast, vibrant tribal rhythms and hypnotic synths that create an immersive atmosphere. "Enfasi" builds intensity with its powerful beats, filtered stabs, and layered sonic textures. Finally, "By One" closes the release with deep, rolling grooves and dark energy, making it perfect for peak-time moments on the dancefloor.
