  • When Things Don't Go Right

When things don't go right — that's where the learning starts.

My child came home one day, trembling and in tears.

I didn't ask what happened right away.

Instead, we headed to the park, played catch under the evening sky.

And slowly, the smile came back.

Then, without anyone telling them to — they started reflecting on their own.

    That moment taught me something.

There's an order to facing hard things.

First, let your feelings out. Then move your body. Then, when you're ready, look back.

This song is for everyone going through a tough time right now.

The pain you carry today is shaping a stronger heart.

Stand tall. Stay true. Walk your own way.

I'll be right beside you — you'll be okay.

    🎵 Lyrics

    (Verse 1)

You came home trembling, tears running down your face

Something went wrong today, I can see it in your eyes

Take your time, breathe slowly, let your heart find its space

No need to rush — just let the feelings rise

    (Pre-Chorus)

In life we clash with people

    That's just how it goes

But from every bruise and battle

    Something stronger grows

    (Chorus)

When things don't go right, that's where the learning starts

The pain you carry now will shape a stronger heart

Stand tall, stay true, don't lose yourself along the way

The light is hiding in the hardest days

    (Verse 2)

You don't have to force it, you don't have to fit the crowd

Being who you are — that's something to be proud

If someone hurts you, say it clear and say it loud

Then rise above it — skill, heart, and head held high

    (Pre-Chorus)

In life we clash with people

    That's just how it goes

But from every bruise and battle

    Something stronger grows

    (Chorus)

When things don't go right, that's where the learning starts

The pain you carry now will shape a stronger heart

Stand tall, stay true, don't lose yourself along the way

The light is hiding in the hardest days

    (Bridge)

Let's play catch in the evening park

Shake it off under the fading sky

Then slowly, quietly, look back on the day

Ask yourself — what did I learn? What did I find?

    (Final Chorus)

When things don't go right, that's where the learning starts

The pain you carry now will shape a stronger heart

Strong and gentle, walking tall, your own way

I'll be right beside you — you'll be okay

    (Outro)

    I'll be right beside you

    You'll be okay

    (Pre-Chorus)

    (Chorus)

    (Pre-Chorus)

    (Chorus)

    (Bridge)

    (Final Chorus)

    (Outro)

  • 🎵 Right Next to You (But So Far Away)

Even when someone is right beside you, you can miss them completely.

When work takes over, when your body gives out, your world shrinks — and the people who matter most quietly fade from view.

“If they can see how hard I’m working, they’ll understand.” — That was my excuse. My weakness.

Actions matter. But words matter just as much, maybe more.

Thank you. You must be tired. This tastes so good.

Just one word. That’s all it takes to change everything.

This song was born from that realization — wrapped in a late-night lo-fi melody.

    【Lyrics】

    [Verse 1]

Pretending to be busy, pretending not to see

You were right beside me, but I lost you somehow

Filled my head with work and all the noise of the day

The things that mattered most just slowly faded away

    [Pre-Chorus]

I thought if you could see me, you would understand

But that was just my weakness, asking too much of your hand

    [Chorus]

Welcome home, I’m home, there’s so much left unsaid

I just want to tell you, you worked so hard today

Thank you, you must be tired, just a word or two

If that’s all it takes to change the world, I should’ve said it sooner

    [Verse 2]

Your cooking on the table, every single night

Your tired hands still giving, still holding everything right

Helping with the homework, folding clothes with care

I took it all for granted like you’d always be there

    [Pre-Chorus]

Words can tell a lie, but silence tells one too

If I never say it, it will never reach you

    [Chorus]

Welcome home, I’m home, there’s so much left unsaid

I just want to tell you, you worked so hard today

Thank you, you must be tired, just a word or two

If that’s all it takes to change the world, I should’ve said it sooner

    [Bridge]

One bite and I’ll tell you, this tastes so good

I want to smile back with everything I’ve got

Even on the days you’re hurting, you still shine

I’ve been leaning on your strength for way too long

    [Final Chorus]

Welcome home, I’m home, there’s so much left unsaid

I just want to tell you, you worked so hard today

Thank you, you must be tired, just a word or two

If that’s all it takes to change our world, we’ll build it together

    [Outro]

    First thing I’ll say…

    You must be tired

    Thank you…

    [Pre-Chorus]

    [Chorus]

    [Pre-Chorus]

    [Chorus]

    [Bridge]

    [Final Chorus]

    [Outro]

    Verse 1

    Pre-Chorus

    Chorus

    Verse 2

    Pre-Chorus 2

    Chorus

    Bridge

    Final Chorus

  • The Five-Minute Revolution

What if five minutes a day could change everything?

This episode features an original English song — The Five-Minute Revolution — written for everyone in their 40s who feels like they’ve been running someone else’s race.

You’re competent. You’re reliable. You check every box. But when you stop and look at what you’ve actually made — is any of it truly yours?

Nine years ago, I started with one terrible blog post. No format. No approval needed. Just the freedom to say something real in my own words. That clumsy, unpolished moment became the most alive I’d ever felt — and it grew into YouTube channels, podcasts, and songs I create myself.

You don’t need a plan. You don’t need to be good at it yet.

You just need five minutes and the feeling of “let me try.”

That’s where it starts. That’s where you start.

    🎵 Lyrics — The Five-Minute Revolution

    Verse 1

I get things done, I play my role just right

I check the boxes, every day and night

But when I pause and look at what I’ve made

    It’s someone else’s blueprint — I’m just the trade

    Pre-Chorus

I’ve skipped on sleep, I’ve given all I’ve got

For family, for work — I’ve given what I brought

But tell me honest — when did I last ask

    Is any of this mine?

    Chorus

Five minutes — that’s all it takes to start

No rules, no format, no one else’s chart

It doesn’t have to shine, it doesn’t have to land

Just make the thing that only you can make

    With your own hand

    Verse 2

Nine years ago I wrote my very first post

It was terrible — I mean, truly, at most

But in that rough and unpolished kind of free

I found something I’d lost — the sound of me

    Pre-Chorus 2

To say what’s real, in words that are my own

That was enough — I didn’t need to be known

That moment — I was the most alive

    I’ve ever been

    Chorus

Five minutes — that’s all it takes to start

No plan required, no perfection from the heart

YouTube, podcasts, songs I write and sing

Each little step becomes the next big thing

    Bridge

The system wasn’t built to pull it all from you

It runs on what it needs — not what you’re able to

But everything you carry still deserves a space

So find it — build it — claim your place

    Final Chorus

Five minutes — start right now, don’t wait

All you need is “let me try” — that’s all it takes

You’ll meet a version of yourself you’ve never known

At your own pace — on a path that’s yours alone

Chase the fire — let it grow

Chase the fire — let it go

    Outro

    The five-minute revolution…

    starts again today…

  • June 15th was Father's Day in our household.

Father's Day in Japan is officially June 21st in 2026.

But in our home, it was June 15th.

We clinked glasses with a miso soup bowl and a tapioca drink, laughing together over canned beer.

    Nothing special. Yet everything was.

That ordinary, irreplaceable evening became a song.

    🎵 Lyrics

    [Verse 1]

Woke up just like any other day

Worked just like I always do

But walking home, something felt different

The kids were fidgeting by the door

I could feel it before I even walked in

    [Pre-Chorus]

A paper bag from Mister Donut

My wife's warm smile, dishes lined up

    Nothing special, yet everything was

    [Chorus]

    "Today's toast is for Daddy"

We clinked with a miso soup bowl

I love you all — I finally said it out loud

June 15th, it was Father's Day

    [Verse 2]

Nights throwing cushions at each other

Mornings getting yelled at over homework

    Passing manga back and forth

Somewhere along the way, I became a dad

    [Pre-Chorus]

In my thirties, I nearly lost it all

That pain is what shaped who I am

I'm just so glad I made it through

    [Chorus]

    "Today's toast is for Daddy"

We laughed with tapioca and canned beer

I love you all — I can still say it

June 15th, it was Father's Day

    [Bridge]

    "Thank you for raising me"

I sent those words to my own father that night

The love inside a family carries on

Until the day my kids become parents too

    [Outro / Final Chorus]

Every day is joy, every day I love my work

I love my wife, I love my kids

Maybe I never noticed it myself

But it seems I'm being a father, every single day

June 15th, it was Father's Day

I hope this song warms your day, just a little.

    [Pre-Chorus]

    [Chorus]

    [Pre-Chorus]

    [Chorus]

    [Bridge]

    [Outro / Final Chorus]

  • Stars Fall in Our Living Room

The 2026 World Cup kicked off on June 12th.

TV recordings couldn't keep up. I wanted to watch any match,

    anytime I wanted.

Stars Fall in Our Living Room

So I picked up an Amazon Fire TV Stick HD —

and before I knew it, it had become the center of our family's joy.

    YouTube, Amazon Prime, Netflix.

We put digital limits on the kids during the week,

but watching together as a family isn't a restriction —

    it's a connection.

Hold back on weekdays. Go all out on weekends.

Finish your homework first, then let's enjoy it together.

That's the kind of small happiness I want to protect.

Today, I turned that feeling into a song.

🎵 Stars Fall in Our Living Room

Hope it reaches your family too.

    ---

    【Lyrics】

    [Verse 1]

The World Cup has finally begun

A June night, I called the family in

A tiny stick plugged into the TV

And suddenly the whole world opened up

Can't catch every match with a recording

Watch whatever you want, whenever you want

The kids' eyes lit up bright with excitement

Tonight our dinner table is a stadium

    [Chorus]

Stars are falling in our living room

    Cheering together, me and you

Laughter and the roar of the crowd

Filling up this space we love

On weekdays we hold back a little

On weekends we go all out

The happiness right here, right now

Is the most important thing of all

    [Verse 2]

YouTube and Prime and Netflix too

Switch and Roblox, it's all right here

Once the homework's done, enjoy it all

Time together is our greatest treasure

The digital ocean is way too wide

So let's swim through it side by side

Until the day you spread your wings alone

Stay where my voice can still reach you

    [Chorus]

Stars are falling in our living room

    Cheering together, me and you

Laughter and the roar of the crowd

Filling up this space we love

On weekdays we hold back a little

On weekends we go all out

The happiness right here, right now

Is the most important thing of all

    [Bridge]

Small moments become the biggest treasures

Just like that match we watched together

Years from now I know the kids will say

"Remember that night?" and smile that way

    [Final Chorus]

Stars are falling in our living room

    Cheering together, me and you

Laughter and the roar of the crowd

Filling up this space we love

Someday you'll each go your own way

But tonight, let's stay right here

The happiness right here, right now

Is the most important thing of all

    [Outro]

    Thank you, Fire TV Stick

You brought this family closer than we knew

    [Chorus]

    [Chorus]

    [Bridge]

    [Final Chorus]

    [Outro]

    Fire TV Stick
