We bring you this week's Heart Snack with heavy hearts, no pun intended. While outrage and protests erupt around the country over the death of Minneapolis’s George Floyd, at the hands of police, this is by no means an isolated incident. But instead the latest atrocity enabled by the pervasive epidemic of racism in America. Though this is not just an American issue, it is deeply ingrained in the history and culture of our society. So what can we do? As two women with white privilege we want to start by using some of that privilege to spark a dialogue with our audience members who are white - with the goal that you might use some of what we discuss here to create dialogues with other white people in your community.
