Paul writes to a church surrounded by voices claiming to offer something more than Jesus. Colossians 2 shows us that nothing needs to be added to what we already have in Him: we are rooted, complete, and made alive and free. When our identity is settled in Christ, no other claim on us holds weight.

Growing up in Christ was never meant to be a private project. Paul labors in Christ's strength so that others would reach maturity, and we are called to the same work. A mature church is built when we choose to invest in one another's growth.

Colossians 1:15-20 gives us the clearest picture of who Jesus is. Everything was made from Him, through Him, and for Him, and He holds it all together. If Christ is first in everything, what does that ask of us?

A worthy life isn't something we manufacture on our own. Colossians 1:9-14 shows us where it starts: praying for God's wisdom to guide us, God's power to sustain us, and a heart of gratitude for his grace. This week we're looking at what it actually means to walk in a way that honors him.

This week, we begin a new series through Colossians, a letter written to a young church facing the pressure to believe that Jesus alone was not enough. In the opening verses, we see what happens when the Gospel takes root. It changes lives, it grows, and it reaches further than we could have planned.

Our theme this year is Own the Mission, and we're kicking the ministry season off by digging into what that actually looks like. As we look at Matthew 28, we see Jesus doesn't just save us from something, He saves us for something.

In our final week in the book of Ruth, we see the story God has been writing all along, through failure and through faithfulness, leading to something Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz never could have imagined. The ultimate redeemer, King Jesus.

This week in Ruth, we see costly faithfulness and obedience bear fruit no one could have orchestrated. Even when all we can see if what's missing, God isn't finished writing the story.

As we continue through Ruth 3, we look at what it really means to be faithful when the next step isn't fully clear. It's not about controlling how the story ends. It's about trusting the One who's writing it.

As we continue through chapter 2, Ruth's story takes an unexpected turn as Boaz's kindness goes far beyond what custom required. This week we look at how God's grace often gives more than we deserve, and works in ways we don't yet see. A grace that welcomes, and a truth that transforms.
