With that in mind, we know the New Testament reminds us the Church is referred to as the Bride of Christ, and He loved & cherished the church so deeply that He gave His life for her. For 18 years, Haven Community Church has experienced God’s blessing as we’ve served, worshiped, and grown together, always striving to become the kind of church Jesus delights in. In reality, the Church is not about buildings, programs, or labels; it is a family of believers who commit to loving God, doing life together, and helping one another live out God’s purposes. So, as we celebrate our 18th anniversary, we’re asking a simple but meaningful question: What makes the church the church— one that Jesus loves, and one that I can honestly say I love too?

Do you ever feel like Christmas magnifies everything in life? The good feels amazing, but the tough stuff can feel tougher. But Christmas doesn't have to be either good or bad; it’s not about how great or difficult things are—it’s about hope that never fails, a hope that can get through everything. That hope showed up one night over 2,000 years ago, when Jesus stepped into the world. Light pierced the darkness. His love drew near, and it changed the world forever. Jesus opened the door to a new kind of life, one filled with wonder, including what’s possible for us today.  In Arrival, we’ll pause together to rediscover the hope, peace, joy, and love that only He brings.
