In this Haven of Rest radio broadcast, hosts Jim and Reverend Kaiser welcome Jonathan Iaconis to discuss the ministry's clothing department as it transitions from summer to the fall and winter seasons. Jonathan explains their organized sorting process for handling 60,000 to 70,000 pounds of monthly donations, which are displayed like a department store and given away entirely free to guests who attend a chapel service or are referred by numerous outside agencies. With colder weather arriving, the department faces high demand for coats, long-sleeve clothing, boots, warm socks, and undergarments, while also seeking volunteers, filling staff clerk positions, and asking listeners for prayers regarding both the ministry's needs and Jonathan's upcoming glaucoma procedure.

In this Haven of Rest radio broadcast, Josh reflects on his remarkable personal and spiritual growth over the past year since transitioning from a program graduate to working as an inventory clerk. He shares how God has recently blessed him with a promotion to kitchen assistant manager, a growing leadership role in Celebrate Recovery, and an upcoming marriage to his fiancée whom he met through the recovery group. Emphasizing the critical value of community, mentorship, and church involvement, Josh highlights how his relationships with a mentor named Denver and a local discipleship group have helped him navigate life day by day. As he prepares for his wedding in just 16 days and continues helping men currently in the program, Josh asks listeners to pray for his wisdom and courage in this new chapter.

In this Haven of Rest radio broadcast, guest Shaun shares his journey of transformation from a program participant to working at the Haven of Rest clothing and donation distribution center. Starting his days early with cleaning, prayer, and scripture reading, Shaun helps sort and freely distribute abundant community donations to those in need. Supported by his local church community and mentors, Shaun expresses deep gratitude to donors and volunteers whose contributions continually meet the physical and spiritual needs of individuals rebuilding their lives.

During a radio broadcast at Haven of Rest, food service manager Jonell Muth highlighted how her department transitions into the fall and winter seasons by utilizing fresh local produce donations, freezing vegetables for future soups, and launching a turkey team to prepare for the holidays. The kitchen operates seven days a week to serve hundreds of meals daily, offering clients in crisis both nourishing food and a welcoming environment that supports the mission's spiritual goals. As stock runs low, the department currently needs donations of items such as coffee, cold and hot cereals, salad dressings, condiments, desserts, and canned goods. Furthermore, the kitchen is looking to fill open dock and inventory staff positions and asks listeners to pray for health, strength, and help with these openings as the busy winter season approaches.

In a radio broadcast interview, host Jim and co-host Reverend Kaiser speak with Dan, a graduate of Haven of Rest's Conquerors program who has worked in the organization's facilities and maintenance department for nearly two years. Raised on a dairy farm with a background in mechanical repair, Dan shares how God guided him to behind-the-scenes maintenance work, where he handles general repairs, mentors newer program graduates joining the team, and encourages residents daily by sharing his story of personal restoration and family reconnection. The hosts commend Dan and his department for upholding the ministry's core values of excellence and stewardship, after which Dan concludes by asking listeners to pray for ongoing life direction and for his children to come to faith.
