Today we discuss modesty for both men and women.
There is no set rule on what modest is. It doesn't even give a clear cut description in the Word. Wear this, but not this. Aside from the things that are obviously immodest a lot of modesty involves your walk with Christ, your obedience to Christ, and your full surrender to Christ. Everything else follows. It all has to flow from the heart. It starts in the inside and manifests eventually on the outside. So what is Christian modesty? How do you stay biblical in an every changing, trendy, and modern world? Here's our take on it.
PSA: I should say this is how we live and our interpretation on the matter. We do NOT come in with condemnation and judgement. We know that we know that we know that that is not OUR place and we would never place ourselves on the judgement seat. Judging others is something that goes against our values and everything we believe in. So in no way during this conversation are we intending to do that.
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Today we talk about encouragement and what this means to a child. It's truly a wonderful thing that we use for our kids. We encourage them in what they hope for and also in their faith!
Personal parenting tip for strong children 101.
We are not perfect.
But we do try:)
Today is a hard discussion filled with a lot of wrecked emotions and too many painful tears. It's also a tribute to my pop (grandpa) who just passed (at such a young age for a grandpa). We are only two weeks in. The wounds so fresh and raw.
How do you live with grief? How do you form a life around the ever so present missing pieces of a loved one? How do you live a life that is worthy to bear that love?
A tribute to Pop. Father, grandfather, husband, brother, servant of Christ and others, and very best friend. If you've experienced grief, let's talk. I am convinced that the hurting can spot the hurting in the middle of a chaotic world.
Let's talk!
So we heard there is not only a U.S population decline, but a WORLD population decline. And, yes, with humans. This was read, by me, in a legit (neither left nor right leaning) article. They're speculating seeing the affects by mid-century folks.
What does this even mean for us and the future?
Join in the chat and tell us what you think.
In this episode we get personal about our life, how we met, the tragedy and blessings behind this, and the decisions that we have made to get to where we are today. We hold a true belief that every decision is vital. Even if that decision seems so small.
We talk about our personal experiences of how the smallest decision to just go somewhere can have profound effects on your future, life, and even the generations to come.
The butterfly effect is defined as: (in chaos theory) the phenomenon whereby a minute localized change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere. (Webster's Dictionary).
The butterfly effect is a theory that if a butterfly flaps it's wings across the world it can seemingly effect the other side of the world (positive or negative).
Our story is someone else's story. We are all interconnected into this great tale that not even the best writer in the world could make up. The choices that we make can very much shape us. We just have to remember that God has overall control of how our life will be. Does this mean we blame God for our bad choices? No. Our choices still matter. They still define. They lead us to our fate and destiny determined by God.
We just have to surrender control. We'd love to hear your idea about decisions, the butterfly effect, or anything else that is on your mind! Comment and subscribe. I'm also going to leave the link to the YouTube channel.

Today we discuss our innate craving to surrender and let go. To just give away the burdens and pressure that we carry like heavy luggage everyday. How can we do this?
Are you curious?
Because there is a way...
Today we go into more hot topic and debatable theological beliefs. As always, we ask that you take everything back to the Word (as you should and as the Word tells you to do).
We also discuss faith and how all of this is related to marriage (a good one too)! We could go even further into depth but just skim the surface here.
As always, we'd love to see what you have to say!
We're back from the holidays, friends!
This week we're talking about a parable that Jesus spoke about. It's one, of His many, that has made me critically think and contemplate the true and honest meaning behind the parable.
God is good. When you ask Him for godly wisdom and understanding, He will give it. But it's important to remember that He won't give you every answer at once. How overwhelming would that be?! I am convinced that we will reach the end of our lives and still not have all of the answers. But we were never meant to. And that's okay.
John and I truly love to read the Word and sit on it. It's where our foundation is, where we are rooted, and where I stake my faith unto death. We suggest that you also take everything that ANYONE ever says back to the Word. That's where the truth will forever be. Don't rely on people and their words (even ours). Go to God!
BTW... so sorry for the weird background sound all through the video. Our mic actually fell. We thought we positioned it just fine but it continued to make this weird sound. We'll get this fixed before the next one!
Another thing...we never want to talk at you. This podcast was specifically set up for conversation! We'd love to hear from you!
So...What will you wear to the feast? Will you be present? Will He find faith on this earth?
In Christ, John and Jessie

So, 2020 is almost over and I think we can all agree it's been a year of personal tribulation as well as social. In this podcast episode we discuss what we have heard lately of the end times. Could this be it? Maybe. We don't know and never will know. If someone tells you they do know, don't believe them. They are a false prophet.
But here we discuss what that may look like and what things we are currently going through match up. The most important thing to keep in mind is that one day Christ will return. And He will not return for salvation but will return to rescue those who are eagerly waiting for Him. Will He find faith on the earth?
Stand your post.
Keep your lamp burning.
Look up, child. Look up.
Though we don't know when, we can say for certain...
The King is coming.

On this episode of our podcast we discuss how important the search for something beautiful is when everything around you seems to be a chaotic mess.
Please, look for the beauty.
"I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip- He who watches over you will not slumber..."
