The Texans have played watchable, competitive football the past two week's in close losses to the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. 

Brandon Scott is here to give the coaches and players credit. But it doesn't negate how poorly the team has played overall, or the importance of making sure the team has some kind of direction with the No. 1 overall pick coming in 2023. 

After all, the most recent home games, with opposing fans showing more energy than Texans fans, show how much goodwill they've lost.
