The Seahawks play their best game of the year in their final home game of the 2021 regular season. Sadly this complete showing comes too late in the season to mean much but it was nice to see the OFF/DEF play functionally for 4 quarters. The Seahawks now find themselves in a position they haven't been in for over a decade and that's as the SPOILER for other teams. The Seahawks get embarrassed in back-to-back games killing any hope of salvaging a playoff run as they fall to the Rams and Bears. The Seahawks have nothing to play for as they face the Detroit Lions in the first of their last two games. In what started as a promising year we are only left with questions for the entire team and the front office. The OFF/DEF/SPEC Teams all looked solid as they went to town against the 32nd ranked OFF/DEF and a lot of the credit goes to the OL and Penny. The team now moves to the next game as they need to win the final 4 games to end with a plus-.500 record as they take on the Los Angeles Rams. They just defeated the division leading Cardinals but have been hit with confirmed Covid case after case. Sixteen players have been placed on the covid list for the Rams; zero on the Seahawks. McVay said all players were vaccinated which means if they can show two negative results back-to-back they can play on Sunday. What kind of team will the Seahawks face? The Seahawks complete their BYE Week with the return of a healthy Russell Wilson, Chris Carson and Dee Eskridge. The team took care of the lowly Jaguars before the BYE. The Seahawks suffer another demoralizing loss as the Geno-led team has the ball with a chance to tie or take the go-ahead score but fail on their last drive of the game. The DEF continues its show impressive coverage skills in back-to-back games but were marred by untimely penalties throughout the game. The Seahawks level their record to a glorious 2-2 after defeating two QBs of the rival Niners. It's a short week though as the Seahawks pivot to the LA Rams for Thursday Night Football in their Action Green Jerseys.
