Is it a stretch to think that the only man-made thing in heaven is the mark of Calvary on the hands and feet of Jesus- I don't think so.-Our Savior very deliberately showed fearful, discouraged disciples His nailed-pierced hands and feet as proof of His resurrection -- and the promises His resurrection secured for them. Long after His ascension to heaven, the Savior placed His hand on a frightened disciple who had fallen at His feet, reassuring him that the promises of eternal life in a kingdom of righteousness were his to possess - forever- -Behold, I am alive... forevermore-- Revelation 1-18 -NKJV-

Over the past couple months we've been faced with an enemy that we'd never really thought about. This virus that many of us had never even heard of has become the central focus of humanity. The whole planet is attuned to a microscopic particle of genetic material. The Coronavirus has become preeminent in the hearts of mankind.-In the face of their own preeminent concerns, John the Baptist's disciples developed a dysfunctional view of their circumstances. But by the grace of God, their kind teacher helped them see that -He who comes from above is above all -- -John 3-31-

Humility. Compassion. Anger. These emotions moved Jesus' heart-as He journeyed into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. The King of Kings entered the city of David on a lowly donkey. -Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord-- Luke 19-38 -NKJV- As those misinformed shouts still echoed, Jesus wept deeply over Jerusalem's unbelief, and angrily cleansed her temple of false worship. Jesus' heart was so moved because of all that is wrong with our sinful hearts... a damning ailment He came in power to cure. I hope you'll join us Sunday as we consider- -The Heart of the King.-

Laughter is good medicine, don't you think- Truth is even better medicine. And the truth is that the God who chose us and called us to Himself in love has promised to use every single circumstance in our lives for our good and His glory. No hardship is wasted.
