Hayom Yom

When we bring the lulav to our heart the same spot we strike during Ashamnu it’s not just a movement. It’s a message. 💙🩵

It says, I’m trying. I’m not perfect, but my heart is awake, feeling, reaching.

Real joy doesn’t come from skipping the pain it comes from being honest, from letting our broken places open us instead of close us.

So when the lulav touches your chest, think. This is me bringing all of me my struggles, my hopes, my love to You, Hashem.

That’s the joy of Sukkot not joy because we’re flawless, but because even our cracks are part of our connection. ✨

‎ בְּכָל דְּרָכֶיךָ דָעֵהוּ In all your ways, know Him.

This means Hashem isn’t only in the “holy” stuff He’s in everything. 🌍

Every delay, every meeting, every twist in your day it’s not random. It’s hashgacha pratit, Divine Providence. 💫

The Mitteler Rebbe explains, someone out in the world, in business, in real life, can see Hashem’s hand even more clearly than someone sitting alone in study. Because life itself reveals Him.

That’s teshuvah here, not only regret, but awareness. Opening our eyes and asking:

🌟 Where is Hashem in this moment?

🌟 What is He showing me?

🌟 How is He guiding me?

When we live this way, every step, every challenge, every encounter becomes part of our connection to Him.

Reb Zusya taught us, teshuvah can be simple, close, and real. ✨

The first step begins with faith

‎“תָּמִים תִּהְיֶה עִם ה’ אֱלֹקֶיךָ Trust Hashem, your G-d, with simple faith.”

‎“שִׁוִּיתִי ה’ לְנֶגְדִּי תָמִיד I place Hashem before me always.” ⚡️

Every second, Hashem is choosing you into being, giving you life right now. 🌱

Teshuvah means remembering this moment is a gift let me use it well. 💙

And there’s another doorway love.

‎“וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ Love your fellow as yourself.” 🤝 🫂

When you soften your heart and care for another, you’re also drawing closer to Hashem. 💫

Teshuvah isn’t only about regret. It’s about awareness. It’s about kindness.

It’s about asking. Am I awake to this moment? Am I lifting others up? 🌟

Because every time you choose patience, compassion, or love you are returning. You are home. 🏠✨
