From the Yard to the red carpet, Loren LoRosa has built a career defined by hustle, authenticity, and breaking barriers. A proud Delaware State University alum, Loren turned her HBCU foundation into a launching pad for success in media, fashion, and entertainment.
After getting her start interning in the fashion industry, Loren quickly proved she had the voice and presence to shine on screen. She went on to work as an on-air talent and correspondent for TMZ, where she interviewed some of the biggest names in culture and entertainment. More recently, she’s made waves as a contributor and guest host with The Breakfast Club, one of the most influential radio shows in the country.
In this episode of HBCU 101, Loren shares how her experience at Delaware State shaped her confidence, what it’s like navigating male-dominated spaces in media, and why owning your lane has been key to her growth. She also opens up about building her personal brand, the importance of HBCU storytelling, and her advice for the next generation of creators.
