When it comes to creating a good biopic, there must be a balance between factual events and dramatized moments. Leaning towards the latter by way of an artistic license could ring false. On the other hand, unless the goal is to create a documentary, only relaying the facts could result in a dull film. Barry Levinson, the Academy Award-winning director, is certainly experienced in this sort of balancing act.
