In 2 Corinthians 8:9-15, Paul speaks of Jesus's generosity, highlighting how though he was rich, he became poor for our sake so that through his poverty we might become rich. Paul encourages the Corinthians to excel in the grace of giving, reminding them that their abundance can supply the needs of others, and in turn, others' abundance can supply their needs, thus creating equality.
