He exemplifies agape love - a love that actively, purposefully seeks another’s highest. It is a sacrificial love. It is a selfless love. As Leslie explains in this episode, this is the love God showed toward us, and the very same love we are called to have towards Him. We often look at total surrender, total consecration to God as extreme. But as Leslie shares, His love for us was beyond extreme. This message reminds us that offering our lives as a living sacrifice to Him is not extreme - it is the reasonable, right, and loving response to the greatest love that has ever been or ever will be.
