"As I Wait" was the title of this series as a way to encourage not only those who are listening to better help us, and I say "us", because as I share with you the ups and downs of perseverance, patience, and just waiting on God. It gets so lonely at times because we think that God has forgotten about us. But remember "He is...and will always be!"

I decided to start these episodes not only as a tool and a ladder of growth through the similar experiences we all have encountered throughout life. But I want you to realize that the trauma, hurt, setbacks, and disappointments are nothing more than stepping stones that will be used as a witness to bear the confirmation that “He Is”…..Whatever you take away from this genuine and authentic understanding of how another individuals ups, downs, 360’s can be the encouragement that you and I may need to get through what may appear as a never-ending story -, or a constant cycle will allow you to realize that there’s someone else who feels you, who gets you, who understands you; and not only is God the head of that department of understanding and care, but that He has placed real, live, tangible individuals like myself to help ease you through life’s transitions with a seed of hope. I hope you will be blessed as I am to be able to share with you what God has brought me through and how He Is….So "As We Wait" together let us remember: We can't talk about rejoicing as one when we get to heaven if we can't get through the dress rehearsal down here on Earth"

The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you

Psalm 91:

“1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare of the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting him. 3 For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague. 4 He will shield you with His wings. He will shelter you with His feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. 5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day, 6 nor dread the plague that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. 8 But you will see it with your eyes; you will see how the wicked are punished. 9 If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling. 11 For He orders His angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample down lions and poisonous snakes; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! 14 The LORD says, "I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name. 15 When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them. 16 I will satisfy them with a long life and give them my salvation."

God is with you always. He loves you and is your protection. There is no where you can go where He can’t find you. He is everywhere. Seek him out…search for him with your heart. Be encouraged in the fact that He wants that relationship with you and forgives you for your sins. Start today, from this moment forward, as a new day. Today is filled with new opportunities and experiences. He will protect you! Praise His glorious name for His faithfulness and forgiveness!!! Amen

“Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself: NAH!•

1 Peter 1:5

“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”

John 10:27-28

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Often times it’s not until we lose control that we realize who’s in control. Whether or not you’ve found yourself in this situation spiraling out of control, knowing when to “give it to God” is vital.

God has a plan and His plan always has a greater purpose. Do you trust it? If the answer is yes, let go…

4. Ephesians 3:20 – Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

5. Philippians 3:13-14 – Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 8:4, NIV: "what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?" In this psalm David reflects upon God's majesty that is displayed in the creation. The heavens declare God's glory. Against the backdrop of such glory, man seems insignificant, yet God chose man to rule the earth and all its creatures. By giving man this awesome responsibility, God has crowned him with glory and honor. The psalm has a messianic tone, because Jesus Christ became a little lower than the angels by becoming a human being. Someday, when Jesus rules the world, he will restore the dominion Adam lost. All nature, including all mankind, will submit to Jesus' rule. The psalm ends as it began with a declaration of the Lord's majestic name in all the earth.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
