In this episode, we continue to contemplate the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ, through the eyes of His Blessed Mother, by praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. We follow the method described by St. Louis de Montfort in his book, "Secrets of the Rosary", in order to avoid distractions and put ourselves in a posture of contemplative prayer.
The Sorrowful Mysteries are an invitation to unite our sufferings with those of Christ, and provide hope that we are not alone in the midst of our affliction because God provides all the graces we need to persevere and attain sanctity. We draw from the example of the recently beatified millennial, Blessed Carlo Acutis, who endured the pain of leukemia and offered up his suffering for the Pope and the Church. In so doing, he left us a fitting example of how to suffer well for Christ's sake.
