“You have to be someone who is okay with delayed gratification” Dr. Charles Farmer is in his fourth and final year as an Emergency Medicine resident in New York City. In 2012 he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Seton Hall University then went on to obtain his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2016. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he is interested in mentorship and medical education of medical students and junior residents. Charles is learning to embrace taking chances and trusting “the process.” On this episode he shares insight on the following:
