Imaging in the emergency department has continued to increase over the years with the growth of head and neck CTA disproportionately higher than other neuroimaging. In this episode, Sara Tedla MD, discusses a recently published study in AJR, which characterizes utilization of head and neck CTA in the ED, and frequency of non-routine results communication among patients’ chief concerns.
