Round 1 of the March Metal tournament concludes as the album War of Words by Rob Halford's band Fight takes on  Power Play by the Canadian rock band April Wine. Next, Wildside's album Under the Influence goes up against the underground metal band Damian's first album, Stop the War.

The March Metal tournament gets into full swing as the French metal band Gojira's album Magma goes up against the album Wrap your Troubles in Dreams by the Finnish rock band The 69 Eyes. Next the self-titled album by Fastway takes on the English rock duo Royal Blood's self-titled first album.
