ABOUT TAFARI ANTHONY:

Currently based in Toronto, Tafari has written and produced for many artists including Tanika Charles, Drag Race icons Priyanka and Katya, and The Fretless (Feat. Nuela Charles). As a solo artist Tafari has self-released three EPs including The Way You See Me (2020) which was nominated for Adult Contemporary Album of The Year at the 2022 JUNO Awards. Alongside glowing reviews from Billboard and PAPER Magazine, Tafari was named a top 25 finalist in CBC Music's Searchlight Competition in 2016 and in the same year his track “Know Better" was on CBC’s list of 100 Essential Songs. A constant in Tafari’s releases is his powerfully expansive range, dynamic vocal texture, and commitment to putting queer love and relationships at the forefront of his songs.

ABOUT SEVEN SPIES:

Formed in London by childhood friends, Seven Spies are an indie/alt, rock band looking to infiltrate the ears of the world. Consisting of David Blomiley (vocals, guitar, piano) and Olly Brown (drums, backing vocals), you can expect to witness a healthy dose of melodic riffs, fuzzy guitars, and anthemic choruses. Fusing the best of rock bands such as Muse and Radiohead, while highlighting vocals reminiscent of Jeff Buckley, as well as Billie Eilish’s use of intimate multi-tracking, this amalgam of diverse artists and influences allows Seven Spies to carve out a pocket of sound that is entirely their own. 

Their latest single “Lie” demonstrates their unique and powerful sound, as Blomiley narrates a broken love story. The songwriter shares, “It’s about being in the wrong place to be able to be with somebody no matter how much you love each other. Telling yourself that one day it will all work out and be ok but knowing that may never be the case. There is more than a nod to how life as a musician, the passion and commitment that is demanded can be all-consuming and not allow you to be there fully for your life outside of that world.”

Covering a plethora of very real and relatable moments that we experience as humans trying to navigate our way through life, each line from the song depicts a different part or version of this love story. From watching from the sidelines as they fall in love with someone else and that moment standing outside a door as you both wait for a kiss that never happens, to saying that right now just isn’t our time and convincing yourself you can handle not being together but really it’s eating you alive inside, “Lie” covers it all. 

Mastered at Abbey Road by Alex Wharton (Radiohead, The Beatles, Bring Me The Horizon, Coldplay, Marvin Gaye), “Lie” is painfully raw as Blomiley’s honest lyrics soar over crashing percussion and bold guitars, creating an all-consuming atmosphere.

ABOUT MADDIE REGENT:

Hailing from Toronto and now based in New York City, Maddie first started making music at the age of 12. As an introverted child, music became her tool to express herself and work through her anxieties, helping her to find power in her vulnerability. After years of honing her sound, she’s found the perfect balance between escapist pop bops and raw, honest songwriting.

ABOUT RITHO:

Ritho is a 23 year old British indie, dream pop artist based in London. Creating deeply introspective songs, his honest lyricism revolves around everyday experiences in your early twenties, filled with regrets and mistakes. Aligned with catchy pop melodies, interesting production and bold instrumentation, Ritho’s music is built upon recurring themes of dissociation and daydreaming, offering escapism and providing listeners with a safe space where overthinkers and dreamers can find comfort. 

Raised in Nottingham, Ritho draws influences from the likes of Holly Humberstone with her heartfelt lyrics and Sam Fender with his raw vocal tone. Brian shot to fame as “Billy” in the cult classic movie School of Rock. ABOUT ERIC DASH:

Eric Dash has been making music since his early teens. He started writing at 8 and recording EPs in Philadelphia at 13, playing shows all over the Tri-State area. However, it was when he was 23 that he tasted his first success with his single “One More Love Song”.

Since then Dash has taken up producing as well, working with tons of independent artists and trying to find his own sound. His debut release as an artist/producer called Unspecified, was a non-genre-specific collection amid that exploration. He then had a string of singles and most recently released an EP, Ship Of Mine, which has over 400k streams in 6 months.

Eric plays all over Los Angeles at venues such as Moroccan Lounge, Harvard & Stone, and Davey Wayne’s. Recently showcasing his new album, he also performs in a trio that covers Hendrix, Stevie Ray, and other rock and blues.

Arty Jackson and Carys Lewin are ‘Humm’ a Bath-based contemporary folk duo with stories to tell, minds to change and world’s too re-imagine. 

Since 2018 they’ve captivated audiences with melodic finger-style guitar, lush ethereal vocals and rich harmonium drones, creating genre-defining tracks that are mellifluous but anthemic. The importance and presence of nature is at the heart of Humm’s music with conversational melodies and wistful instrumentation bringing their earnest lyrics to life. Humm take listeners on a twisted journey through love, hate and heartbreak, rooted in traditional music. Telling folkloric tales of Welsh saints and Greek sinners, Cornish fairytales and medieval legends to solidify their place in folk music.
