The Virgo Lunar Eclipse on March 3rd will be a climax moment — a realization of how much we rely upon the mind in our everyday lives, and a call to trust the part of us that cannot be analyzed.

The more we allow our blind spots to be revealed, the more we learn to trust the unknown path before us.

The stellium of planets in Pisces — including Mercury retrograde in Pisces during this Lunar Eclipse — is asking us to surrender our attachment to the vision we have painted for ourselves. Not to abandon our dreams, but to release the illusion of control around how they unfold. Something truer is calling us forward now, in real time.

Pisces energy can tempt us to escape the present moment. The Lunar Eclipse brings the present moment into sharp focus. It gives us a choice:Do we feel our way through the dark room into the unknown?Or do we fixate on the fact that it is dark?

A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Earth passes directly between the Sun and a Full Moon, casting its shadow across the lunar surface. The Moon darkens, often appearing reddish — a “blood moon” — as the Earth’s atmosphere filters the sunlight.

This particular Lunar Eclipse is in the mutable Earth sign of Virgo.

Virgo connects us to our physical bodies.The systems within our bodies.The systems within our lives.How we are called to be of service.Our daily devotional energy.

Virgo discerns. Virgo simplifies. Virgo focuses on the details of the present moment like no other sign.

Yet this Eclipse occurs during Mercury retrograde in Pisces — Virgo’s polarity. We are in a season where much of the energy supports losing sight of details. Schedules blur. Plans dissolve. Timing shifts. There is surrender required. There is forgiveness required — especially toward ourselves.

The Moon — our fastest-moving planetary body — governs our emotional responses and holds the records of the past. As the Earth casts its shadow across the Full Moon in Virgo, we are invited into a profound check-in moment:

This Lunar Eclipse is conjunct the South Node in Virgo.

The South Node represents collective clearing — the patterns no longer serving our embodied path in this lifetime. As always, it opposes the North Node — which now sits in Pisces alongside the Sun during the Eclipse.

The Sun and North Node in Pisces illuminate the dreams calling us forward — not by handing them to us fully formed, but by revealing what stands in the way.

The Sun in Pisces forms a supportive trine with Jupiter in Cancer.

Jupiter — the benefic planet of expansion and higher consciousness — offers warmth here. Jupiter in Cancer feels like a compassionate embrace. If Virgo energy becomes overly critical, this aspect invites softness. Unconditional love. Gentleness with ourselves and with others.

The Virgo Lunar Eclipse also forms a sextile to Jupiter in Cancer, reinforcing the opportunity to redirect negative self-talk and harsh judgment into nourishment and emotional safety.

Venus in Pisces forms a sextile to Uranus in Taurus during the Eclipse.

Venus — ruler of Taurus — is exalted in Pisces. This is an opportunity to stabilize relationships through small, sincere acts of kindness. Unexpected tenderness. Reminders of devotion.

Saturn and Neptune remain in close proximity after their exact conjunction at 0° Aries on February 20th. Together they are awakening us to what we are uniquely here to do. The Pisces planets continue dissolving residue from old identities so that Aries motivation can move through us cleanly and courageously.

Eclipses change us forever. Solar Eclipses bring something new into our lives and Lunar Eclipses take something away that is for whatever reason no longer in alignment with our journey forward.

Every Lunar Eclipse is a Full Moon. Not every Full Moon is a Lunar Eclipse. A lunar eclipse is created when the Earth passes directly between the Sun and a full moon, casting its shadow across the lunar surface. This alignment causes the Moon to darken, often appearing reddish called a “blood moon” because Earth’s atmosphere filters sunlight.

This particular Lunar Eclipse is in the mutable earth sign of virgo. Virgo connects us with our physical bodies, the systems of our bodies, the systems in our lives, how we are called to be of service to others, our daily devotional energy. Virgo is discerning and simplifying and able to focus on the details of this current moment like no other sign. This Virgo Lunar Eclipse is occurring in the midst of a mercury retrograde in the sign that is Virgo’s opposite or polarity: Pisces. We are right in the midst of a time period when most of the energy is supporting us in losing sight of the details, and feeling like most things on our schedules are not actually happening at the time or date originally specified and there is a lot of surrender to the flow and forgiveness needed to manage our own energy. The Moon is our fastest moving planet causing our moods to shift as it changes signs every 2.5 days. The Moon rules our emotional response to life as it holds the records of the past. As the moon becomes full and the earth casts it’s shadow across it creating the lunar eclipse in the sign of virgo it’s a major checking in moment for us inviting us to feel our feet on the ground in this present moment and discern what is necessary and what is excess? What choice will ground me and what choice will bring chaos? It’s a call to do an interview with the body and truly listen to what is out of balance between our mind-body-spirit connection. The stellium or cluster of Pisces planets during the eclipse can make us feel like our life is flipped upside down and the Virgo eclipse comes in and turns it right side up for a moment so we can see clearly what to do next to invite some stability and direct next steps into what has felt like a fatiguing journey across many oceans.

The Lunar Eclipse in Virgo is conjunct or working directly with the South node in Virgo. The South Node represents the collective clearing out of the patterns no longer serving the grounded embodiment of our energy in this lifetime. The South Node is always directly opposing the North Node just as the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse is always directly opposing the Sun. So that means that the Sun and the North Node are working together in Pisces to bring attention to the dreams calling us forward through revealing what is standing in the way of those dreams being more reachable.

The Sun in the water sign of Pisces is in a supportive trine aspect with the planet Jupiter in the water sign of Cancer. Jupiter is a very supportive planet in general known as the benefic planet that brings luck and expansion and higher consciousness. Jupiter in cancer supporting the Sun in Pisces during the Lunar Eclipse shows up as a warm hug of gentle, compassionate energy for us to lean into if we find ourselves feeling critical or harsh with ourselves or others during the Virgo Eclipse. Virgo can be overly critical and this energy invites us to soften into unconditional love. The Full Moon Eclipse in Virgo is also in a sextile or opportunity aspect with that Jupiter in Cancer which backs up this notion of not allowing ourselves to get lost in negative self talk or judgement of others in any extreme way.

The planet Venus also in the sign of Pisces at 26 degrees is in a sextile or opportunity aspect with the planet Uranus in the sign of Taurus during the Eclipse. Venus is the natural ruler of Taurus and also likes being in Pisces so is an opportunity for us to stabilize our relationships through random acts of kindness and showing each other how much you mean to each other.

Saturn and Neptune are still in somewhat of a conjunction after their exact conjunction at zero degrees of Aries on February 20th. They are working together to bring each of us alive and awake to what we are uniquely here on this planet at this time to do. All of the Pisces planets are ensuring that we continue to usher out any residue of old patterns that would block our ability to fully harness that Aries motivation to move forward.

The planet that rules Aries: Mars-is still in somewhat of a square or point of tension with the planet Uranus after their direct square on February 27th. Mars is known as the little brother to Uranus as both planets are movement oriented with Uranus being motivated to move by divine insight while mars is motivated to move by primal instincts. These two planets in a point of tension with each other can show up in our world as volatility and perhaps fights that cause lasting effects. Those lasting effects can mean there is a breakdown to breakthrough that happens or a breakdown that is unrepairable. We must be conscious about how we work with these energies within us and in our own lives during the lead up and the come down of this Eclipse.

Our boundary and rule governing planet: Saturn in the fire sign of Aries is in a sextile or opportunity aspect with the planet of transformational change: Pluto in the Air sign of Aquarius. These two planets are presenting to us an opportunity to truly see and plan for a way forward across the bridge from present to future. We would be wise to be honest with ourselves about anything that we are carrying within our subconscious minds that is heavy or burdensome so that we can seek out the healing we need.

Our progressive and truth seeking planet: Uranus in the Earth Sign of Taurus is also in a sextile or opportunity aspect with our illusion dissolving, higher self connecting planet of Neptune in the fire sign of Aries. These two outer planets are communicating about how to bring the future into the tangible steps we are taking now in our everyday lives. How do we create stability in such a de-stabilizing world? How can we simplify and use our energy to be here now while also being aware of what needs to be done at a steady pace?

These are the questions we are being asked to sit with during this Lunar Eclipse.

This is a serious check-in for the collective but since each of us make up the collective this is a serious call to check in with ourselves as well. We contribute to collective healing when we do our own healing. So many people look outside of themselves at the collective and have a lot to say about what needs to change but since we are a part of the collective as individuals- our biggest place of power to change the collective is to focus on our own individual healing.

The nature of the check-in we are all being called into on February 20th goes like this:

Saturn in Aries: Accepts that it’s go-time for a new chapter and is checking in on what it is you want to initiate next and assessing it’s ability to endure the long-term steady work necessary to ensure success.

Concerns: Aries can start strong and burn out quickly. Saturn is wanting to teach Aries how to conserve his energy for the long-haul.

Self-Reflection for Saturn in Aries: How can I make space to be bold and excited about what I am building next while also not burning out before I even start? How can I make myself proud by not doing too much too soon?

Neptune in Aries: Accepts that it is no longer in it’s home-sign of Pisces and that the focus is starting a new chapter instead of ending a final chapter. For Neptune, the focus is still on dissolving what is not in alignment with your higher self, and in Aries it also extends to your physical body with a focus on your blood and your head.

Concerns: Aries wants to act first think later. Neptune is wanting to teach Aries how to be led down the path of least resistance instead of charging ahead before taking the time to tune into higher guidance.

Self-Reflection for Neptune in Aries: Where in my life do I feel impulsive? Can I take a step back to tune-into my higher self before moving forward? What is my body saying it needs now in order to sustain this change of pace?

The conjunction or the merging of these two outer planets will have potent ripple effects in the collective and our personal lives as well. Since outer planets move so slowly the effects will be stretched out over the next few years and at that point we will have a more comprehensive understanding of the potency of this conjunction.

It’s less about what is changing and happening this week and more about the intentionality we meet this week with.

We must do our part to merge with these two planets that are merging. We have to consciously put our energy into the conjunction like we are planting a seed for our dream to grow. Saturn and Neptune in Aries are the perfect combination of energies to help us build our dreams from the ground up we just have to be clear with ourselves about what seed we are planting and be willing to take tangible steps to water the plant.

In Astrology there are always many complex factors at play but since Astrology is ruled by Aquarius we can trust that there is a certain genius at play at all times in order to support the evolution process.

For instance, during the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at zero degrees of Aries we also have the moon at 12 degrees of Aries adding a more personal jolt of raw emotional knowingness for each of us to sit with and feel into during the conjunction. The moon represents the public so there may be more unsolicited opinions from the peanut gallery around us on things that feel personal.

The other astrology genius at play here during the conjunction is we still have 3 planets in Pisces plus the north node in Pisces which points at our highest collective potential at this time. That North Node is still in a conjunction with Venus in Pisces while Mercury in Pisces is preparing to go retrograde next week on the 25th and the Sun has just entered Pisces on the 18th. The genius part of this is we have this monumental conjunction at the zero point of Aries screaming new beginning as well as a stellium of Pisces planets giving us the gentle reminder that we must not step back into old patterns as comfortable as they may be. The retrograde period will be a time where we will get to witness ourselves and others be messy in this process of trying hard to move forward while falling down and having to get back up and start again. This is genius because we are human. We need the transitions. We are not built to leap into new chapters without subconsciously opening the door to the past. We need trial and error. We need grace. We must give it to ourselves because we are worthy of it and bonus it also sets an example for others to see that we get to give ourselves grace in this monumentous times of change.

This Full Moon in Leo illuminates the heart of our individuality at a moment when nearly every other personal planet is gathered in Aquarius. The Moon—our emotional record keeper—stands alone in Leo, asking us to remember the times we felt different, proud, and yet profoundly alone.

Leo remembers the moments when we didn’t fit neatly into any group. When we stood in our truth before there was an audience ready to receive us. Those lone-wolf moments—the lion walking by itself—are the moments that shaped our character most deeply. They were not detours. They were initiations.

The Full Moon in Leo on February 1st 2026 at 13 degrees of Leo

The moon is the only personal planet not in Aquarius during this full moon. Since the moon is the emotional record keeper of everything that’s ever happened to us-in the sign of Leo at this climax point we are being called to remember all of the times we didn’t feel we fit into any one group. The times in which we felt alone even when we felt proud of who we had become. The times when the strong, prideful lion felt like a lone wolf are the moments in their life that were the most defining. The times in which true character was built and a new vibration of authenticity was sent streaming into the universe to eventually be met in resonance by another and another and ultimately forming a new community of like minded souls.

The Sun in Aquarius directly opposing the full Moon in Leo at 13 degrees reminds us there are new groups forming right now. There are chosen families being built and communities finding each other for the first time. Each prior lone-wolf identifying lion is being challenged to ask themselves if they truly want to or have to continue on with that identity? Or are there people that you are feeling called to connect with in a way you never thought possible? Are you being called to start a group? To introduce friends? To create an online community that you actually look forward to reading notifications from? All of these questions are streaming in during this Full Moon.

There are four other planets in Aquarius besides the Sun during the Full Moon. Venus and Mercury are conjunct each other chatting it up about how we can take our core values and start conversations about them with others that spark progressive action toward a future that benefits all of humanity. Mars is coming off his conjunction with Pluto only 4 days before this full moon. It was such a monumental moment in time for these two brother planets. One being the big brother: Pluto having a sit down with little brother Mars instilling his wisdom that real lasting change takes the thorough breaking down of the old to see and expose the root of the problem in order to build something that won’t create the same problems all over again. Mars is in the process of moving on with that wisdom in the forefront of his mind. Mars is forever changed from this sit-down with Pluto and therefore so are we. If we take the time to get conscious about it- we have each seen the light about something in our lives this past week. What is no longer worth our mental energy? What cycle of insanity has stopped that we aren’t willing to start again no matter how hard it feels?

Mercury our messenger planet in the sign of Aquarius is also sextile or has an opportunity with Chiron in Aries during this Full Moon. Chiron is our collective soul wound. Mercury in Aquarius is group consciousness and Chiron in Aries is vulnerability in individuality. There is an opportunity here to each individual in the group to choose to be vulnerable with the opportunity to see how relatable their individual experience actually is.

Jupiter our benevolent planet of expansion and blessings is conjunct or actually sitting on top of the Ascendant of this full moon chart. Gifting each of us a new pair of glasses to look at the world through. We must very bravely take this opportunity to look out at our world with beginners eyes. We must allow ourselves to see how our own individual upbringing has created each person that makes up the world we live in and make the conscious choice to do something that contributes to our own emotional healing in relation to our own personal family lineage. We must do the work it takes to call forward the version of ourselves that is not showing up with the emotional baggage of all of our ancestors. We must come current with our emotions as best we can and trust whole-heartedly that that is what the world needs most now.

The boundary ruling planet Saturn sits at the top of this full moon chart in the late degrees of unity-driven Pisces in a sextile or opportunity aspect with the insightful and fast evolving planet Uranus in the slow but steady sign of Taurus. There is an opportunity for us to stabilize during all of this de-stabilizing energy. We must not miss the forest for the trees as we witness the chaos around us. We must remember the higher purpose of all of this which is a felt sense of unity in our human experience. Both Saturn in Pisces and Uranus in Taurus are finishing up their respective time in Pisces and Taurus. This signals a leveling up of maturity for all of us if we choose it. We aren’t yet living the experience we want to be living but can we step into the mind of those people that will be? Make decisions from that higher mind?
