Friends, it's been a beautiful journey. Our podcast is coming to an end, as Kim and Erik each go on to pursue new and exciting projects. In Chinese medicine there's a concept called wei qi - a kind of energetic barrier that protects us from pathogens. In this episode, Erik introduces a variety of tools and techniques that you can use at home to help boost your wei qi and prevent infection as the weather gets colder. Included in the discussion are guasha (skin scraping), fire cupping, moxabustion, herbs and vitamins. You'll also learn how to make your own immunity tincture. Human Rights Rally in response to proposed unconstitutional laws which lead to forced drugging, human rights violations, and more people entering the broken psychiatric medical model for "treatment."  This was a day to challenge our communities to not perpetuate the statue quo, celebrate our uniqueness and interconnection in the human family, and promote communities of acceptance which encourage, allow, and facilitate individualized movement towards lives rich in texture and meaning.

With a global pandemic, gun violence, sometimes violent clashes between protesters and police, wildfires in California, devastating storms in the Gulf Coast and more, there’s an elevated level of fear in our country and on our planet that can prevent us from focusing on love and moving forward in life with ease.

In this episode, Erik and Kim share their insights on coping with fear in our current climate. Several of our previous guests have been kind enough to share their thoughts as well.

This episode is a recording of a virtual meditation that Erik led along with master medicinal aromatherapist John Odlum.  You might remember John - he was our guest way back on the fourth episode of the show.  For years now, John and Erik have been holding live events that combine aromatherapy, qi gong, guided meditation and sound healing - typically around each solstice and equinox.  This spring, In light of the coronavirus pandemic,  they decided to take the event online.
