The subject for this week's podcast is about the MA "right to know" movement regarding a proposal for GMO labeling in Massachusetts. I read a transcript from my personal testimony at the Massachusetts state house.
Massachusetts will most likely pass H.32422, but we will need the support of other states to prevent Monsanto from putting an end to everyone's efforts here and throughout the country.
On the federal level, there is a legislative bill organized by Monsanto, that will interfere with our basic right to know what is in our food. I will keep you informed of any developments that I see coming. In the meantime, there are plenty of petitions floating around to try to stop Monsanto. Here is one:
