He has sent me to heal the broken heatedOnly Jesus can heal brokenness. There will be trials. Always the question of WHY!Brokenness on earth means openness in heaven. It can restore a Spirit to a new level of intimacy. He gives us access to His wisdom and power to minister into brokenness. 1. Brokenness responds to the healing balm of humility. We tend to encase our heart so it does not get hurt again. But we are actually locking the hurt in. They need Jesus. 2. Brokenness must bow to the healing work of the cross. Jesus' sacrifice is the answer to everything. The cross is the intersection of brokenness and wholeness. It is the cross that heals. 3. Brokenness must tune into the voice of the Holy Spirit. We must cooperate with the Spirit and meditate on His word. Wait, listen and respond. 4. Brokenness must acknowledge that God is holy, just and upright in all of His ways. We need to trust He has reasons way beyond our understanding. Why without resentment. Nevertheless I trust in you. 5. Brokenness needs to accept Gods NO when we would rather have His YES. God actually said No to His Son on the cross. Not My will but Yours be done.
