  • 2022 EP #6 Kel Cal - I Thought Leaving Was Enough
Leaving a toxic relationship is the first step, but what you do next matters most because what you do next leads you to your future. Leaving is the end of the relationship but the beginning of your healing journey. The first step of healing is processing and releasing the trauma you experienced so you can begin to make that shift from surviving to thriving because unresolved pain & trauma are not a stable foundation to support your dream life.Healing from the trauma of the relationship is what brings you the freedom & happiness you desire.Kel Cal is a toxic relationship healing mentor, mindset expert, podcast host, & the founder of How I Cured My Resting Bitch Face. Kel was living what appeared to be the dream life but in reality was secretly miserable in an emotionally abusive marriage so she made the decision to leave her life in sunny South Florida & move across the country to restart her life in the rainy city of Seattle. She now uses her personal experience to help women recover from toxic relationships so they can break free from their past & create a future they love. Kel believes that toxic relationships can be the catalyst for total life transformation and that all women deserve to fall in love with themselves so they can live happily ever after.Connect with Kel:TikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@kel_cal__ Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/kel_cal_/ Podcast:www.deardumbbitch.comToxic Relationship Recovery Mentorship:https://www.howicuredmyrbf.com/toxic-relationship-mentorship Resources:https://www.howicuredmyrbf.com/my-5-step-guide-to-getting-over-a-toxic-exhttps://www.howicuredmyrbf.com/get-over-a-toxic-ex-strategy-sessionOFFER:RBF RECOVERYA 12 week hybrid course and mentorship program that provides you with the support you need to healfrom the trauma of toxic relationships and to build the foundation to support your dream life ♥ ♥Book your spot on the podcast here:https://bit.ly/3laHgOw Email:[email protected]:https://htlaustralia.orgFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/HTLAUS#healingthroughlove, #cause, #podcast, #rosedavidson, #sharlenelynch #amyhill

  • 2022 EP #2 Chioma Nnani - Does forgiveness always mean a 2nd chance?
I grew up in a culture where domestic violence was seen as something to be glossed over or discussed in hushed tones, no matter how seriously it impacts the victim. "Good women" were supposed to pray for and submit to their abusers, in order to stop the abuse and live happily ever after. And that's what a lot of people still do due to fear of stigmatisation, shame, religious constraints and Stockholm's Syndrome. A few weeks ago, a popular gospel singer in Abuja (Osinachi Nwachukwu) died and a few hours after, her husband claimed she had died of throat cancer. Only for other people to start speaking up = Nigeria learned that her pastor-husband killed her. My topic about "finding home" for yourself is to encourage victims to define what makes THEM feel safe and happy and go for that. Not an expectation society, tradition or a warped religion foists on them. Chioma Nnani writes multicultural fiction for women aged 18+ who aspire to be strong, independent and fulfilled.Chioma is the author of FOREVER THERE FOR YOU and BECAUSE HOME IS... as well as a co-author of the FEARLESS FIVE BY FOUR BOXED SET.An LLB graduate of the University of Kent in Canterbury, Ms Nnani also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Food Law from the De Montfort University in Leicester - both in the UK.She is a UK BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) Award winner for "Blog of the Year", the CEO of The Fearless Storyteller House Emporium Ltd, and lives in Abuja with her husband. Connect with Chioma:https://talent.fearlessstoryteller.org/our-talent/chiomannani PROMOTION:My first full-length novel, FOREVER THERE FOR YOU explores the question of just how a daddy's girl from Nigeria who's never been in a toxic relationship in her life, ends up with an abusive husband in the UK. All the places it's available can be found here - https://fearlessstoryteller.org/forever-there-for-you I also have BECAUSE HOME IS... which is a short story collection about finding a home, coming home, and being home - seen from the perspectives of the main characters in each story.
