Julie shares her journey from working warehouse jobs and selling Red Bulls on the side, to dreaming of entrepreneurship, to ultimately finding her calling in tattooing. After taking a course that didn’t give her the tools she needed, Julie taught herself, built her own clientele through flash tattoo sheets, and turned her passion into a sustainable business that allows her to make her own schedule while raising her daughter.

We dive deep into the psychology behind tattoos and how they can represent healing, identity, grief, and acceptance. Julie opens up about one of her most meaningful tattoos: a memorial piece for her mom, who passed away from colon cancer just three months ago. She shares how grief has changed her perspective, strengthened her empathy for clients, and reshaped her mindset.
