Ann explains her release work like this:

"That's the level of awareness. And throughout the whole process, my awareness expanded, so yes, I just call it generally my release work.

But it started at this level, which is like the level of the emotions or the words. So yeah, I went home and and realized that it seemed like it was a good technique. But you know, as a software engineer, I have that kind of mind, I wanted to know that it wasn't just a fluke, that it actually worked.

So then I worked it out, I had a cat, I had a 17 year old cat that we were told me to daily, say nine shots. And the first time I gave him a shot, my hand was just shaking so ridiculously much. I wasn't going to be able to do it every day. So I thought, Well, this was a good test case. So I actually tapped I use this technique EFT about my fear of hurting my cat about my handshaking about my memories around injections. And the next day, when I gave him a shot, my, the needle just slid right in my hand didn't shake at all. So it was just such a crazy shift, that I knew this technique was really powerful, deceptively so really.

And so that's when I started working with it every day. So I would notice when I was emotional during the day, and then I would tap in. But I wanted more than that. So I wrote down every emotional memory I could think of for my life. And I tap through one each night for about an hour to an hour and a half each night. And I found my mind becoming quiets. And it was so nice."
