This week I had the pleasure of interviewing the man, the myth, the legend that is Owen Colgan. Most of you will know him from the Hardy Bucks as Buzz. He’s one of Ireland’s funny men and a generational icon. I’ll say no more. Enjoy.

I really got a lot out of this chat as we cover some great topics, including Aboriginal culture, plant medicine and many more interesting topics.

In weeks episode of Healing With The Homies I’m joined by Jack Kelly. Jack is a 19 year old boxer who got a silver medal in last years Irish Championships.

He has a daily breathwork practice using @iceman_hof’s Wim Hof method, which he started doing during the lockdown in order to deal with anxiety, he practises meditation and manifestation techniques to help him stay grounded and focused on his goals.

Jack also uses the flotation tanks @floathouse_ireland to reduce the stress hormone Cortisol which is also a by product of the Wim Hof method.

We did some rounds of breathwork before we recorded this episode and jack shared the benefits he has gained from using these different techniques to connect with his spirit and quieten the mind.

For a guy his age I think it’s amazing that he understands and uses these tools to his benefit. I got a lot from speaking to him and am very excited to see what the future has in store for this young, intelligent and talented dude.

In this week’s episode of Healing With The Homies I had the pleasure of chatting to Dr. Cathy Scanlon, a neuroscientist who gave up the academic life to teach breathwork and help people connect with their authentic self.

Cathy has a fantastic story and spent 6 months living in Costa Rica working at an Ayahuasca retreat and was kind enough to share her story with me.

I really enjoyed listening to Cathy and am looking forward to doing it again as I could have kept talking to her for another couple of hours.
