Dr. Adnan Danish is a specialist in radiation oncology, which means that he usually irradiates tumors and various forms of cancer.  That is all done with regularity and at high strength. Now, Dr. Danish discusses the use of "low-dose" radiation for treating inflammation and related pain syndromes. A low dose is not dangerous and can effectively manage pain in osteoarthritic hands and knees, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and many other conditions. While not suitable for children, it is helpful for active adults.  There is no downside to these treatments. Joints, such as knees, can be replaced if this new therapeutic modality does not alleviate pain.
