I'm sure you think of your local Walgreens or CVS, and the amazing pharmacy team that helps you get your medications and answer your questions. Well, what if I told you there are other options to being a pharmacist. Today you get to hear from Dr. Daniella Olan, PharmD. as we delve into her experience getting into pharmacy school, and how she has carved her path into the non-traditional pharmacy route. We explore how to navigate networking and staying connected in a virtual world, and most importantly how to balance having a life while also being a healthcare professional. You also get to hear more about a nonprofit organization called Rxcellence, aimed at increasing representation of people of color in non-traditional pharmacy career paths, which she cofounded.
