I never set out to bother anyone. In fact, I usually go out of my way to avoid it. But there’s one area where I fail more often than I’d like.

To be clear, most of my encounters with the medical community are pleasant. Uneventful. Boring, even. Every once in a while, though, I find myself in a situation where things go sideways.
