Preparing for behavioral-based interview questions by recalling specific past experiences is recommended, along with honesty about not having interviewed recently and coming prepared with written answers. Professional advice includes readiness for behavioral questions using the STAR method, asking relevant questions to recruiters and hiring managers, and ensuring a good fit during the interview process. Asking pertinent questions during nursing job interviews, such as staffing ratios and team culture, is crucial to avoid problematic environments. Professionalism in appearance, including appropriate attire for interviews, is emphasized, along with adhering to infection control policies regarding tattoos, piercings, and scents. Job interview etiquette in healthcare settings involves maintaining professionalism, making personal connections, and following up professionally. Proper etiquette during virtual interviews, such as choosing suitable backgrounds and dressing professionally, is essential, as well as being mindful of privacy and distractions.
