Healthcare continues to be a laggard behind other industries, despite the price transparency regulations that are in effect, patients continue to be shocked and frustrated by surprise and or unexpected bills that can and do send many into medical debt. From other industries we know there are better ways so why not in healthcare? Removing complexity from the experience is more than just a nice to have. As you will hear, the financial experience contributes disproportionately to the bad reviews and poor ratings many clinical services receive. Those same reviews impact revenues and more importantly detract from what might be an exceedingly good care experience but gets ranked poorly.

Your better pill to swallow is to hide the complexity and friction that exists in a healthcare system design that we must all work within from the patient. Deliver a fair, convenient, integrated friction-free request for payment for the service at the price you provided when you first interacted with the patient. Your patients will thank you as will your own staff.
