He will describe how the draining will be accomplished, how the fish will be removed safely and, how long it will be before anglers can catch and keep their prey!

On this episode, Haden and host Chris Newbrough discuss the end of the Missouri legislative session and, also, how President Trump's Big Beautiful Bill may be a slight headache for the State of Missouri and its budget.

In this special edition of the Healthy Bytes podcast, we welcome back in University of Missouri Atmospheric Sciences Professor and Meteorologist Eric Aldrich to discuss the Friday, March 14 forecasted severe weather event for Audrain County and mid-Missouri. Aldrich and host Chris Newbrough take a look at the hazards the area could see and talk about what those threats could pose to residents of the area. Also, they discuss the timing of the system so you can make plans going forward. 

This week on the Healthy Bytes Podcast, it's a subject we try to do each and every time the seasons change in Missouri and, that's talking about upcoming possible changes in the weather in Missouri. Again, we are joined this week by one of our favorite meteorologists around, Eric Aldrich! Eric took time out of his busy, busy schedule to sit down with us to discuss the upcoming severe weather season in mid-Missouri that'll soon be upon us. In this edition, we talk about all things severe weather including what comprises severe weather and, how you and your loved ones can protect yourselves during severe storms. So, this week, we welcome 43rd District State Representative Kent Haden to the microphone to address what he sees as issues dealing with health his chamber, and state government as a whole, may have to face in the 2025 session! While there is no threat to the public, we are posting a special edition of the Healthy Bytes podcast today to alert the public of a confirmed case of Chronic Wasting Disease in a deer harvested in the first week of deer season in southern Audrain County in November. Audrain County Conservation Agent Norman Steelman joins us to discuss the disease, where it was found and what the Conservation Department is doing to address the disease in deer in Audrain County. Also, Steelman announced there will be a public meeting, mainly for landowners in the affected area, to be held in January.

Beamer talks about the Health Risk Appraisal and the InBody programs the ACHD offers to the general public. Beamer explains what each program is and what the benefits are for our residents to participate in each for their own health and well-being.
