Mental Health Awareness Week. Theme: Loneliness. “Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person typically experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness.”
When we’re hungry, we seek food to satisfy our needs but when we are lonely, we seek connection. It’s so easy to satisfy our hunger (assuming food is readily available), but it's difficult to attain the necessary connection to satisfy our needs when lonely.
