  • Make sure to carve out quality time with your children every day. 
  • Establish consistent routines and boundaries to help your children know what is expected of them.
  • Listen to your children and be open to their ideas and feelings.
  • Show your children affection and encouragement. 
  • Model the behaviors you want your children to learn.
  • Spend time outdoors with your children.
  • Allow your children to make mistakes and learn from them.
  • Celebrate your children's successes, no matter how small.
  • Be patient and forgiving with your children.
