On episode 17 of Healthy Scratches, the boys discuss the first few games of the NHL opening round of the playoffs with a new segment Fill In The Blank. They also give their predictions on the NBA playoffs, and talk about some of the biggest storylines in the MLB. Debated again is the argument of whether there should be an asterisk or not for any team who wins a championship in 2020 and to finish it off, our own personal biggest L's we've taken in our sporting careers.

After a one-week hiatus thanks to Tropical Storm Isaias, Kevin, Bryan, Matt and Jonathan are back on the mics. The NHL playoffs are back and we get the boys instant reaction to the Bolts/Jackets 5OT thriller and bracket predictions. Switching bubbles to the NBA, who should be the NBA Bubble Play-in MVP? Houston Astros Haters are winners, Zach Plesac and Mike Clevinger are loser but who else are the winners and losers of the week?

Sports are back and the whole team is finally back on Healthy Scratches. The Miami Marlins have proven that the MLB's plan to play amid the coronavirus pandemic is flawed and also prove that nothing good comes out of Florida. Lou Will is highlighted in "All Press is Good Press" as he was spotted at Magic City, allegedly getting some wings. Two new segments are introduced called Please Like My Sport, where Bryan tries to defend why you should watch the Premier Lacrosse League, and Winner/Loser of the Week where Matt is far beyond the winner of the week with his very, very good boy.

Jonathan, Matt and Bryan host the pod this week as Kevin misses out due to making plans with friends even though he knew what time we were recording. The guys run through some over / unders for the MLB season set to start Thursday and set the stage for the NBA and NHL returns from their respective bubble. Bryan departs early as Jonathan and Petry finish the show by discussing the hot mess that is Madden 21 and take part in a "rate this flex" segment involving flexes in the world of soccer and MMA.

The boys are again Petry-less as he continue to recover from his poison ivy attack. In the wake of DeSean Jackson's social media posts, a serious discussion about anti-Semitism kicks off the show and how the reactions or lack thereof, from other athletes has impacted everyone. The NBA bubble restrictions have already been broken as fast-food cravings and late night...adventures we'll call it seem to already have arisen as issues in Orlando. The crew introduces two new segments called, "Let's Get Sexy" and "Rate This Flex" and what NBA player would be the best at shotgunning a beer?

Jonathan and Kevin hold down the fort as a duo this week and tackle the biggest topics in the sports world from the past few days. The guys speculate how many Super Bowls Patrick Mahomes will win if he plays out his entire contract and debate how much money other young quarterbacks will get on their first payday. Jonathan and Kevin also pick out new team names for the Washington D.C. football team and Cleveland baseball team, discuss the dominance of Joey Chestnut and try to fix the flaws in MLB's 60 game schedule. Lastly, they debut a "Fill In the Blank" segment where the boys are interrupted by a tiny bug that causes Kevin to freak out live on air.

After a busy weekend, 3/4 of the boys got together for a belated episode - shout out Matt for being a #companyman. Here's what's on deck for this week's show:

Jonathan and Kevin are the lone members of this week's podcast as Bryan (girlfriend) and Matt (lake house with the boys) miss out on the fun. The guys debate who had a better reason to miss the show and discuss the update of the NBA returning to play at the start of the episode. Jonathan and Kevin then look into how many games is too little for a baseball season, argue over a comeback tour or buying a bodega in the latest installment of "This or That", analyze how a fan got onto the field during a soccer game with no fans and much more.
