Cowan discussed his mindset coming to Maryland as a freshman, watching opponents struggle to shoot free throws at the student wall and holding clinics in the area since the end of his Maryland career.

McMillen still holds the record for scoring average (20.5),20 point games (48) and career double-doubles (46).
