• Today, Stephen Enada, ICON co-founder, is joining me to talk about the escalation of violence in Nigeria and what needs to be done in order to put an end to it

• Sunday, November 1st,  is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. What an amazing opportunity for us to come together and pray for those experiencing persecution in Nigeria.
• Today, Stephen Enada, ICON co-founder, is joining me to talk about the importance of praying for our brothers and sisters around the world experiencing persecution due to their faith and to give us an update on the Webinar ICON hosted this week

· For the past two weeks, Nigeria has been rocked by protests focused on police violence which has evolved into broader anti-government demonstrations. 

· Young people mobilizing through social media began staging demonstrations calling for the abolition of the Federal Police's Special Anti-Robbery Squad, better known as (SARS), which has long been accused of unlawful arrests, torture, and extrajudicial killings. 

· This week Teyei Pam is joined by Mrs. Helen Ochidi, an educationist and child-evangelist.

· Each week we share statistics from our incident tracker (SilentSlaughterNigeria.com) and it is our deepest hope is that they strike the hearts of those who hear. Each number represents not only an individual but a family, a friend group, a town and a community. Help us shine a light on this violence to put an end to the silent slaughter. 

· Over the past two weeks we have been discussing how the Nigerian women and men are affected by the current genocide, but the most important group of individuals has yet to be discussed. This week, Mrs. Helen Ochidi and I are going to talk about the Nigerian children who are impacted in such a deep way by the violence that steals their parents, siblings, and friends. 

· Due to the ever-increasing violence around the world, it is easy to become overwhelmed when hearing stories like the one we heard last week with Priscilla, but nonetheless we must continue to listen to the voices of the victims in order to put an end to the silent slaughter. 

·  Last week’s podcast focused on the women in Nigeria and how the violence and attacks have affected them and their families, so this week, Stephen and I are back together to discuss the men in Nigeria and how the genocide has changed their lives
