Can we easily miss hearing God's voice if he speaks in a way that we are not familiar with? 

We reflect today on how God can choose to speak in a still small voice and other times He thunders so powerfully.

The guide for us is our relationship with Him.The more time we spend with God the more assured we will be when He speaks in a way that we are not used to.

Again,the Kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who,when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it( Matthew 13:45-46).We can experience this Kingdom through God's word.Gemstones & semi-precious stones are formed through pressure and heat.God's word which is flawless refined in a furnace of clay will also be tested as we live through it.Refined Gem seeks to share the word of God, applying it in everyday living.
