Why does God value us remembering significant events or when He has won victories for us? Why did God ask Israelites to carry stones from River Jordan after He had cut off the waters and the Israelites had crossed over into the promised land?

Hey everyone!

We continue our reflection on a second discipline that we can adopt, having begun a personal relationship with Jesus.

How do we nurture it? We consider prayer and learn how to pray from the Lord's prayer. There are all kinds of prayers including praying in the Spirit. We look at what Jesus taught the disciples when they asked him how they should pray.

After making the decision to let in Jesus into our hearts, what next? We continue to reflect on spiritual disciplines to help us in our growth in salvation. We reflect on the study of God's word as one of these disciplines .

We continue today on the second part of the series .Our reflection is on the alliance formed between the King of Israel, Ahab and King of Judah, Jehoshaphat.

We will see how costly it can be to enter into alliances with those that hate God even if they are family relations.We will also learn of the place of inquiring God's mind before joining such alliances.

We continue our meditation and today get to understand what a Rebirth in Christ means. The foundation of our being born again.Is good works not enough to earn me a ticket? We reflect on salvation by faith and how we get a new identity.We will also consider what it will take for us to walk the walk after making that decision.

Jesus paid a hefty price for your life and mine .That price is inclusive of a guarantee to us for an abundant life in Him but not many of us experience this abundance. We reflect on what this truly means for us.
